That Navicixizumab has had excellent results in tests on very advanced ovarian cancer. The median Progression Free Survival was 7.3 months. That was on cancers which had resisted three other treatments. Maybe if it was used as a first line of defence, instead of a last line of defence, the survival times would be even longer.

“ The FDA has granted Fast Track designation to navicixizumab for the treatment of high grade ovarian, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer in patients who have received at least 3 prior therapies and/or prior bevacizumab. This is certainly a life extender, if not a life saver. Seven months or longer, is a massive gift to patients with terminal cancer,

The UK quarantine regime about to be implemented is unworkable. My tenants from mainland Europe will come back to the UK and go straight back to work. The scheme is not enforceable for tens of thousands of people arriving back in the country.

What WILL work and IS 100% enforceable, is a Test Before Fly scheme, done at check in. Anyone testing positive goes straight to quarantine, paid for by an enhanced travel insurance scheme. All you need is an affordable test and and extra 20 minutes at the departure airport.

Someone in HMG will eventually get the idea.

Another of my tenants works in a residential care home. They locked down when HMG advised them to, in the middle of March, and they have had NO COVID19 cases.

He has been able to be tested for over a month, with an appointment available the following day, but he hasn't gone for one yet.

I just had a conversation with one of my tenants who works in IT at Ocado in Hatfield.

They are doing between 8k and 9k tests per week!

Not specific to NCYT, obviously, but a sign of things to come.
