I just had a conversation with one of my tenants who works in IT at Ocado in Hatfield.

They are doing between 8k and 9k tests per week!

Not specific to AVCT, obvious;y, but a sign of things to come.

Great value at this price. Mozambique needs more energy and cheaper energy. This project has a very good chance of making it big.

India is one of several countries dumping dodgy antibody testing kits. As with virus testing, buying sub-standard kits is a waste of money. More importantly, it hinders the fight against COVID19 because you have incomplete or worse, false information on virus spread.

China has a bad reputation for quality. I can see India buying in more of our kits, after the initial £1.4m kit gets used up.

Journos have been banging on about HMG missing the testing target, so he can shut them up now.

Just need AZ, GSK announcement that Cambridge site is ready.

Dreamingof, if it helps, my first early potatoes have broken through and I’m going to make second sowings of carrots and various lettuce today.

That’s a billion plus tests in the medium term. Tests will have to be ongoing for months, maybe years.

Indian government will pay for COVID19 testing for the 500m citizens in its flagship healthcare scheme.

tomvisual, that’s a very good approach. Only problem I can see is getting joe public to take the swab correctly. Don’t you have to go way back in the throat and nose to sample?

Other than that, the only suggestion I have is to deliver the result and the disease clearance certificate to the users mobile phone. No need to have expense or delay in production of cards.

Anyway, Professor Trump says the US has the most testedly population in the world. So biggly tested, world leaders are phoning him every day to ask him how he manages to be such a great leader of the medical world.
