Looking at the numbers, if you take out Playtech's ineligible 9.36% holding in Plus500, that reduces the total voting entitlement to 90.64%. This would result in a 'simple majority' requirement of 45.321%. With Odey & JPM's aggregate holdings of just under 34% between them, it will only require a further 11.325% to defeat the proposal - it could still be a close finish! Finally, disappointed there is no mention of an exit dividend to shareholders based on the half-year results to 30 June 2015.
