Kragero, I agree with you. More likely that the 200,000 shares was a SELL. That would possibly explain where the MMs have got their stockpile of shares to trade off. Hopefully it was a one one-off big sell and a future stock shortage will see the SP improve in line with the latest positive RNS. DYOR.

Since 10.28am yesterday, there have been countless 'buys' totaling 500,000 shares with the SP going down 1p. At same time, only 2 'sells' totaling 16,500. With 11 major shareholdings accounting for 75.2 per cent of TSG issued share capital and considered as being "not being in public hands" (see RNS of 2 December 19), where do the MMs get their shares from to satisfy the market and NOT having to increase the buy price?? Just saying......... very, very odd!!! DYOR & GLA

kathmandu - can't understand your annoyance, here. If as you say you have been a PI here for over 3 years, I reckon bought it at around 120p -right? So you have "patiently waited to recover your losses after the SP drop in 2017" -really? You didn't incur an ACTUAL financial loss, as you never sold at that time. Selling out now at 150 per cent more than your buy-in price sounds like a great return - good on yer! Please don't make out that the two main directors / shareholders placing a minority proportion of their shares into safe institutional hands (following a great Trading Update) is an act of treachery on other shareholders. Now, if you sold because of your concern about the current political situation in the UK, then that's an entirely different debate. GLA & DYOR

Worth seeing if you get a a chance. Most interesting revelation was the June acquisition of the assets and intellectual property of skin care brand, Balance Active Formula ('BAF') for £500,00 plus legal costs paid for out of existing cash resources. It was further revealed that the £304,000 sales from BAF in the quarter to 30 Sept "had exceeded all expectations" and that the acquisition cost has "already paid for itself ". It was also reported that the gross margin on these sales were higher than that achieved on other CRL products. As this acquisition was an asset purchase only (with no liabilities being taken over), there could be a significant bonus addition to the bottom line, when this year's final results are announced. I agree 'retired banker'. I too, topped up today @ 86p. What's there not to like here. Declared shareholders account for 83.58 per cent of all issued shares, so not many in public domain to move the SP. Also new adjacent mine at Rodnikova has a 20-year operating licence from 2019. I was one of only two shareholders who bothered to turn up at yesterday's AGM (last year I was the sole attendee). The meeting included an impressive 30 minute presentation on why Accolade is the market leader in its field and why this Company is and will continue to be a substantial cash cow. My attendance gave me all the reassurances needed to continue as a long term investor. Those short term holders looking to profit from constant RNS announcements, spasmodic price movements, or relying on takeover chatter are IMHO wasting their time and should move on to easier targets. The sale of 10,000 shares @ 48.90p was actually a purchase - it was mine. There's another 'sale' after mine, 9,795 shares at the same price - that's probably a purchase too. So don't always believe what you read? DYOR

My first purchase was 19 Feb 2014 @ £4.03.Saw it go to £7.15 in April 2015. Then there was that bizarre bid @ £4 (a 40 per cent discount on the then market value) from the founders' mates and readily accepted by the them in June 2015. Fortunately for us PIs, the FCA deemed the Purchaser unfit to operate PLUS and subsequently the company has gone from strength to strength reaching its recent hiatus of £20, only to come crashing back to earth. In the meantime, the founders have sold most of their total holdings for hundreds of millions of ££££s more than the accepted offer of £4 per share. They appear to have little compassion for the plight of shareholders as they have systematically divested out of the Company. I sold out @ £13 at the end of October 2018, suspicious of the shorts reaching 10 per cent of the share capital. Does the shorters relentless pursuit of PLUS over the past 12 months suggest that they had prior knowledge of what has now been disclosed in the past couple of days? Coupled with the 'coincidental' sale of founders shares during the same period, surely this needs to be investigated by the regulators... Whilst there is such distrust of the current Board, I doubt if I would re-invest in PLUS in the foreseeable future. GLA & DYOR

Previous updates suggest another positive TU, which is due next Tuesday - anything less will probably see SP fall. However, SPE has a great product for an anticipated global recession, as companies still need to maximise profitability even in bad times - Accolade provides such a cloud-based service. Also interested to see if cash pile has increased by year end and whether company can add to its maiden dividend. GLA

Not sure what to believe on BBs these days. My 10.06am transaction this morning for 3,000 shares was a BUY not a sell. GLA and here's to a prosperous 2019, hopefully.

tomglan - sounds like your situation is slightly different from mine. I am a UK taxpayer with a personal holding in PLUS. Like you, I get 75% of the declared divi and then claim back 15% on my end of year tax return. So the remaining 10% withholding tax is lost, unfortunately. Not ideal, but factored in when I am looking at % return on my investment. GLA
