Newdealz, hope not, I'm scrambling together the cash to buy another thousand shares by Friday :)

@celtics, kind of piddles all over the £3 price tag put on it by Berenburg, (reduced from £5) "Based ok Kaz alone". I've always thought it was possibly an attempt to suppress the share price.

It may have been something somebody else said of course I have a lot of green boxes on my screen most days :D

I'm wondering if there is an automatic element to deleting posts and threads i.e. if you enough people complain, it then the post will be deleted automatically. FA you might want to copy and repost later in the morning, when the Spammings and Trolls have gone to local Community College, Daycare, Tasty and That's It serving job etc, see if it sticks?

Oh and the investors day video has 'update on split hopefully by July', so got potential for being an interesting 6 - 10 weeks or so, Auditor, Production Figures, possibly of split news, dividend news. I might have to take some time off work. DYOR etc etc.

I don't get why holders here are so against the share split. It's stated intention was in part to 'Maximise investor benfits', and the BOD have committed, verbally at least, to staying on LSE. They said they are looking at ways of 'liberating' shareholders on MOEX. So the shares split, and it's an assumption, but standard split is if you hold 5,000 shares in Poly, they become 5,000 shares in Poly Rus and 5,000 shares in Poly Kaz, both priced accordingly. Irrespective of any sanctions, Poly Kaz can pay a dividend, Poly Rus you can hold untill sanctions on international payments are lifted and pay out later. What's not to like? You can hold Poly Rus as a long term see what happens, and Poly Kaz (reportedly) can support a $1 dividend. I don't know how HL does it, but Fidelity has an action centre where you can make decisions on corporate moves, extra share offerings etc. Or as I'm a newbie am I missing something?!? I can't see the BOD taking Poly Rus into MOEX where they will very potentially be isolated from international investors and ii's??

That's correct, can't remember myself who it was, bit remember it wasn't a spammer, one of the more reliable posters. I'm not holding my breath massive shifts on the news, but it will be another good solid tick in a box of moving forward.

Hirult. Both Russia and US have a habit of showing hubris and getting involved in long drawn out, expensive, hard to get out of wars. My thought is that FA has a point, even though I'm not as optimistic in the short term as he, this war is much closer to 'Western' home than other invasions, but there has been a war here for a long time, some normalcy is likely to return and I'm not in a rush, like yourself, if it takes a couple of years for the dividends to start then I'm still a happy bunny, with good luck and good health I've got another good 25-30 years in me yet! The share price may be somewhat muted ongoing because it's a 'Russian' company, (Yes, I KNOW) but once and if the financial barriers are removed, a return to the SWIFT system etc, the war itself dragging on doesn't really matter, only if you are looking for maximum multi-bag, and I'm not planning to secure any firm capital by selling off for years yet (unless there's a miracle and £18+ appears then I will take some firm capital gains and keep majority for dividend). Aware it's just my opinion etc. Good luck to all holders!

FA, I've a friend who is like yourself in conversations, he won't give up on a point, I like him, been a mate for 35 years, but I never argue with him, he is a hard man but will never be aggressive, he will wear you down reasonably @_@ So I suspect it's a combination of petty 'win one way or the other' posters reporting / personally attacking you, and, well, you do go on a bit :D haha. BUT!!!!! ATrades, echo that! Yea I'm about the same average IRO 2.23 cos of getting cash together. I'm very aware that my opinion is just that, and there's lots of twists and turns possible yet. Magnum ice lollies are TINY nowadays, very disappointed.

ATrades. I do agree that Putin saying 'OK I'm done now' isn't going to stop hostilities. A (shaky) ceasefire agreement MAY be agreed if both sides get exhausted, and I can't see it holding steady. However there's been a mini-war going on in Ukraine for years, now the West has gotten involved it's much more complicated, but the sanctions side of things are IMO unsustainable and some sort of fiscal relaxation is on the cards. Hostilities, which may last for a long time yet, may depress the share price, but Plot is continuing fine and I'm here in the long term for dividend income and EVENTUAL share growth, so that's not a worry to me. JREWIN, the share price went up on the things you mentioned, AND because it looked like Russia may have had second thoughts and was retreating. One of the more reliable people here (terrible remembering names sorry) emailed Poly and auditor announcement in about 3 weeks, they CAN'T give updates about the share split, because it's market sensitive information, it will break, if it breaks. DYOR TTFN off for a magnum and a coffee in the local village, oh the highlife :)

Board will do what the board thinks is best for business / shareholders :) with a superb track record, don't think they will listen to me and my 3 shares 0_0 hehe

This is just a first answer, other posters may be able to answer more accurately, my understanding is that there will be two separate businesses, the Russian and the Kazakhstan, split but both listed in UK, equal (duplicated) amounts of shares in each but listed at the relevant price for each business. If I remember correctly the directors are looking more at leaving MOEX then consolidating the they said their main focus was the UK listing. Will feel like Mr silly pants if I got that wrong but I think it's right
