Ditto Sagacity. I think the 'World Leaders' have dug themselves a hole they don't know how to get out of . Also, call my cynical, (yes, thank you BB :D ) but capital-com published an article couple of days back which said Poly could 'go under because of the strain of sanctions '. Given it's a CFC trading portal, wonder if someone there thinks Poly has bottomed out ;)

Did anyone see the 'Strong statement' on G7 unity, there's nothing in it, unspecified 'We will ruin Russian economy with sanctions' statement, here's a few billion to help with the food crisis, which is a distraction, if there's not enough grain no amount of money will make up for that, and limiting the price of oil, but everyone will have to agree, including India, who are laughing all the way to the bank. I don't think they know what to do now, but hope public opinion will force a movement, and they will be blameless for the mess they've caused respective economies. Reason I'm saying this is to reflect on the pressure build up, it's not there yet, but when Autumn comes...... Also question, if Rus, China etc create their own SWIFT type system, could that work in Poly's favour, because there will have to be an 'exchange,' mechanism, they can't both be hermetically sealed. Anyway, I've had beer, night all. I miss FA, there, I said it!!

I posted a piece by the Financial Times the other day, was based in a 'leak' to them that precipitated the BOD issuing a statement that they where looking at split. THEN they where looking at split for both Kaz and Rus on LSE. In the Investors Day they said they where looking at how to 'rescue' the MOEX shareholders, not sure what that meant. The BOD said they where going to update on the Kaz split in the financial statement in July, I guess they will have high powered lawyers looking at how to structure the finances and if it's possible to continue, I share your trepidation. BUT as the major private shareholder is based outside Rus, be interesting to see how they can pay him as well as us ....

@Saga, can't give you a reference, it's late zzzzzz but the initial Berenburg rating came with the statement that it was based on Kaz alone. And I'm still of the opinion that the Kaz valuation is a little conservative. Night all.

Yes! It's in the latest RNS, did the doomsayers even read it, Polly sells CONCENTRATE, to Asian markets, and then not to Russia, and this continues uninterrupted. Wonder what this will do to the gold price, which is more important than US sanctions IMO.

BTW, will be VERY happy indeed, for myself and everyone if this jumps again on Monday! I'm mindful of a Rick Rule comment, if a share you are investing in, and it's a good investment choice, goes DOWN, it's a good thing, you can get extra value buying more. I appreciate, knowing a good thing is for gifted and expert investors. And people on here who are in deep won't necessarily be feeling it.

I'm not as pessimistic as ATrades, but I believe that there will possibly still be plenty of ups and downs until ii's are allowed back in, PI's are not consistent, there's still many more selling brokers than buying, and tomorrow someone will be shouting about how Amalgamated Sprockets are a sure thing. However, I will be scraping together cash just in case there's a dip back down, still very optimistic about the long term if and when split and or dividend news comes.

And I've said before, there's also a risk calculation in that rating, based ok PolyKaz only IMO. BOD suggested that a $1 dividend could be paid from Kaz, subject to debt moving, any company announced a $1 per share dividend, the share price isn't going to be 300p! DYOR DIOR DOOR etc

I totally agree with you about balance, I've got some determined rampers on filter too, as I am sure some will have me on filter because I'm a just noobie investor :) BB needs his attention and we're all different, just only got so many hours in the day and don't want to read the same thing again and again, wish I had his / your (BB) energy though! :D

Seriously Peeps, just use the filter button, the more you respond the more you play into him and others dominating the board. Some people never lost an argument in their whole lives, and they usually have no belief whatsoever in the nonsense they are so 'passionate' about, it's just an excuse for an argument, you can't make them stop or go away, and it's a waste of energy @_@
