Pretty much as expected but Kaz not imminent so PI's all exiting for Amalgamated Sprockets, AND no dividend (probably).

Well the hype caused by the possible Kaz spin off will die down as no decision imminent. I'm reassured for the long term by the focus on reassuring VLTH's and ii's. Assuming the company survives, it's an opportunity to accumulate.

If it hits 300 today I'll send you a bottle of Orkneys finest, I'm optimistic of keeping my money here though ;)

Ok, Sberbank is in the firing line for sanctions from the EU, apart from the chaos that's going to cause the EU and it's businesses 0_o how might it impact on Poly? The UK sanctioned Sberbank in April without affecting Poly it seems. Poly have a 500m credit line with them, but not payable back till 2026 I think, so I'm thinking not immediately going to affect, but open to options from proper investors :) Sorry late post, too much coffee today @_#

There may be other ways to check, but shorts over a set amount has to be declared. You can see that in the 'More Poly Information ' tab above, though I'm not too sure how accurate it is on a free site, traders and professional investors may have access to more detailed info I suppose.

Guess the BOD will see what can be done in that regard, my main hope for the future is some kind of deal that gives a positive financial start to Kaz, (unless VP gets an unwelcome bullet as a present of course) and the best asset of all will be there, the BOD, they've a proven track record and the motivation to build up again, it's a good thing they and Neiss' brother own so many shares, the better they do the more rewarded they are.

It's PI's, tomorrow it will be Amalgamated Sprockets who are in vogue, going to be up and down till ii's get involved, ll. I know myself well enough not to try trading, happy to top up on downs, and be happy that even on a poor-ish Rus return, it's a super investment, with a future of growth.

Just my inexperienced thinking, but whatever they get from Rus will go to, pay off debt, or investment in new businesses, or dividend payments to shareholders, or mix of. In the long term I believe they will rebuild the business, can't see them turning up to work and suddenly deciding that Kaz is fine let's have a cuppa :) So mid - long term hopes for very LTH IMO.

May be going on in the background, but I would say it's unlikely? I think what may be in the sales favour, is any buyer knows that the SP on MOEX won't be hindered by Russia 'tainted' reputation, and of course the BOD are steely eyed business people, I may not be good on shares, but people are my business, they've got minds of iron!!

Which banks are Poly banking / loaning with? Looks like Sberbank will be in line for sanctions by EUb at least.

Newdealz, yea had to engage in a little schadenfreude there, always good to make a little money, or a lot :) I'm optimistic about the future if the sell off happens, the BOD will keep on doing what they do best and rebuild Poly into a behemoth again I am sure.

@Newdealz Just a thought, not seen Floor today either, hmmm, you going to be the one to tell him it was me 'selling the family silver and using credit' :D Though what I actually did was borrow against my summer doing-up-the-smallholding money, to get in there in time :)
