50% dilution means I now have 0.5

But at the same time I now own 3.33 times what I did originally

So I now own 0.5 * 3.33 which is 1.665 of what I started with.

plus Telfers gold to get us started

plus toll free mining

plus some other stuff

plus I can in future charge Rio to process winu stuff.

So I could be near twice as well off as before.

Matt there surely has to be a consolidation to get listed on ASX. 10-1.??

That's my view too and I've been here a LONG time.

Why can't someone just ring up the venue where the town hall meets are usually held and casually ask... ".. remind me which day has Mr Day booked for the meeting".

Surely performance means doing something other than just turning up for work? Where's the performance?

Agree with the comments here this morning but what puzzles me is what were LOL hoping to achieve given that they must have known about the circa 40% irrevocable undetakings.

There maybe a fee payable for early removal of T/O offer not withstanding Lol. IAG(BA-Iberia) just paid £50m to redraw their t/o offer for a low cost Spanish airline because of EU competition concerns. So do nothing, say nothing is way out.

What number Droverman do you think that GGP will pay for Hav/Tel then ?

Newmont want Cash not IOU's to pay-down the monies they spent on Newcrest (and apparently to buy copper assets) so no NSR's for them.

So how much should we pay them?Given the 5% (as per RNS 21/07/22) was priced at US$ 60m, if I remember correctly, then we should pay them 14 x 5% (ie the errant 70%) would come out at US$ 840m for the mine.For Telfer - well is it I'll take off your hands for $100 (scrap value I dont know).

So this makes US$ 940m. Newmont will blag it's a $1bn and GGP will say "look" we got it all for less than $1bn.

Those of you who think Newmont will be getting bucket loads of GGP shares or some sort of NSR are well wide of the mark. The question you need to ask yourself is..... Q. Why are Newmont selling Hav-Tel ?

And the answer is very simple... They wish to reduce their debt having taken over Newcrest.

Paying them in shares or some sort of NSR or indeed smarties doesn't do that as the debt remains on their books.

How the deal is constructed on the other side of the fence (our, GGPs side) depends on who else is involed and helping to fund the deal. Thats what (or who) we dont yet know. But is not unreasonable to think it will be a mix of finance including bank debt, loan and who know what else including possible shared ownership in some form or other.

The state pension cannot be means tested because people have bought with real earned and taxed income missing years. So in effect they would be stealing and would face a mountain of legal issues.

I had a last minute wee top up here this morning. Another RNS stating progress so all good.

I think there are 2 things the LSE admin could easily do:

1. Put a count against a posters name showing how many others have green binned them. This would give everyone else a good view of the posters behaviour.

2. They could completely bin someone who gets into , say just for example, 40 green bins.
