Are ODX sole manufacturers of mologics antigen test? Adreco announced partnership with mologic back in 2017, and they've been awarded a contract last year to provide casings for unnamed LFT test

Microgen, owned by Novash*te, offers a faecal LFT. Not sure its self administered, unless you try and take a dump on the assay.

Amigo brand name is in the gutter thanks to places like MSE, Martin lewis, debt camel and national news papers. Even those that might have a good experience thanks to the ambulance chaser style lawyers who have made out they've been scammed and can get their money back. Board much better off launching new company using a round of funding and whatever business model they have planned, buy up the good loans and then torch the place. Was invested a few months back when it was around 7p but it never went anywhere. Shame, as underneath it all there's probably a viable business

If I was medusa and the govt were wanting to give avactas test to the public, and I had signed an exclusivity deal to sell and distribute to the general public, I'd be getting lawyers in sharpish. Whoever signed that contract off needs firing. They're cowboy's, but have business sense and knew where this test's potential was heading.

So Avacta bams assay might be helped through clinical validation, by mhra labs owned by the company supplying reagents, and they have close ties with mass spectrometry specialists who are part of danaher corporation.

The redacted contract (yes I'm that bored, and no she's not ****** sleeping) which from experience seems like a fairly generic Govt contract (have signed similar one some years back with DWP) but very heavy on data protection and non disclosure, from any staff. Several pages worth alone, and certainly gives weight to a water tight NDA between Avacta, govt and this consortium. All subject access requests and FOI requests must be passed by the buyer (dhsc), staff
informed of details on a strict need to know basis etc would also explain the near absence of any leaks, risks are too great

LGC's UK laboratories are in Culham, Leeds, Runcorn in Cheshire, St Neots in Cambridgeshire, Tamworth in Staffordshire, Teddington, Risley in Cheshire, and Wakefield in West Yorkshire.

So Nativeantigen were awarded the contract to supply reagents for, I'm assuming, our BAMS pilot.

Since then, they've been bought out by LGC group. From quick read on their website they manage a number of govt labs, Inc mhra.

One of their subsidiaries is Douglas Scientific LLC, seem to be involved in PCR, there's a few others too which I'll have a read up on

How did your short on Novacyt go, seadoc? Was around £4 wasnt it?

On the plus side, we've avoided a red day.

Never seen a stock so heavily ramped. Only had a tiny holding @ 0.045 just to see what the fuss was about before deciding if it was worth a proper punt.

Unless Al has lied and accuracy is not 'exquisite' as promised I can't see us being #4, and that could undermine confidence on affimers. If we're part of the 60 that failed to make the grade, was this our saliva test (which would fit in with timeframes of testing) and therefore we're about to start stage 3 again with the stick test, in which case we're a good 2 months away from market still?

Does no one else find that document extremely concerning or am I reading it wrong? Has the govt just chosen the 4 selected because the results have also been independently verified before selection? In which case we're still some way off but at least still have a potentially decent test. I guess that means this initial £900m tender won't be heading our way this time

Says 'unlikely'. Just like you're 'unlikely' to die from covid, but I still don't want it.

Why would ODX think they're involved?! Nova has their own, most likely superior, AB test. I wondered why Nova decided to put resources in to it late last year, now I know why.

Are we assuming that revenue will be based on invoiced, rather than when payment received? Contract may well have an upfront payment, paid within 30-60 days of contract start, and a bulk payment on end of contract, with 30-60 day of invoice, and based on performance. I'm sure it will be made as clear as mud. Private customers may well be payment before shipping, govt contracts might not.

I don't think we'll see the true picture until July

If you want to find out what our SP will be worth when sales come rolling in, one guide imo, given that majority of sales will be covid related, will be check out Novacyts financials due end of the month, and see how their SP performs. I haven't got a clue what the SP there will be if revenue of £250m is confirmed
