One maybe slightly unforeseen gain could be due to currency movements. I'm not sure what the company projections are based on, but Cyprus is in the Euro zone. The £ has devalued by about 4% against the Euro and by 11% against the $ in the last twelve months.

What sort of ego has a person got to have when they believe that others will be interested and or influenced by who they do and do not filter? It seems to me the epitome of control freakery, a form of unappointed moderation, trying to influence others in some way. We are all adults here, able to make our own decisions, to read or not. Long may it be so.

You just don't get it. There is no "Western media" as you would describe it. There is a plethora of news sources, influenced to a greater or lesser degree by some of their home governments. This is not like you propose at all because either you're a government troll (unproven at this time) or simply doing what you regard as a loyal citizens job, to defend his/her nation. But try to understand, many here gather information from many sources and times and examples. You seem to have very limited to state information and doubt everything else.
I really don't see that the west is russ1a's enemy, the west reacts to actions of others, in the most part. (Though not all I accept). Before this war, people seemed to be getting on quite well, (the odd bit of poisoning, election interferring and proxy wars asside), hopefully when people come to their senses, that rapprochement will return.

Have you ever heard of lavrov telling the truth? I don't see that the share price move is tied to him much if at all, he's not driving the war. To me it's more influenced by news of potential meetings and talks between leaders. I very much doubt that lavrov defines policy, I would suppose that he maybe influences it, but mostly enacts others directions.
This is clutching at straws, but is it maybe because he is not wanted at some present meetings? All supposition at this stage.

Looking at a day's prices, or even a weeks for that matter is too short a timeframe. The idea of a slowdown in the war or even peace is sinking in, the price bottom in place gives more confidence, continued good performance of management, acting to communicated plans in a very hostile environment is yet more fuel to the rise. Gold price stabilisation/rise helps cashflow, and maybe most of all the hope of dividends on the horizon, all turn this company from a risky 'unknown' to a good medium-term risk with an upside of 200% year on year gain and a 40% dividend potential.
