CEG owe the BG $2.9m according to the article in the nassua guardian as they haven't paid licence fees since 2017.
Which for a small company like CEG is a substantial amount especially as they have to raise more money very soon and this just doesn't help.
Why did they let it get to this stage.
Why did the commercial director who has now become the CEO not make sure these bills were paid and up to date before trying to renew licences.
You say they have budgeted for this but they should have settle any outstanding fees before it got to this stage, sorry but not good management once again and there lies the problem.
Must be news on Monday on several fronts.

They did state 30th June for drlling and logging completion so looks like it might be taking longer than they expected.
Quoting exact dates for these operation is not a good idea and the market might react negatively in such cases.
It doesn't necessarily mean bad news but just makes people worried.
With the next round of funding around the corner as stated on numerous occasions by the company any drifting of the sp lower might mean more dilution to shareholders.

The sp here will start to move in lead up to spud in october right thru to completion in December.

Not good news and the amount owed to the gov is a substantial amount for a small company like ceg, in fact it could also be very harmful to ceg reputation.
Some will twist this news to make it look like ceg are the aggrieved party and may even slur the Bahamian govt which certainly won't help ceg or it's shareholders.
For lse to allow someone to speak about the Bahamian govt in such a manner, and its quite an insult.

After the success of the ASD-1X exploration well the rig moved to the Al Jahraa-8 development well on 6th April so news could be imminent.

If someone held 150,000 shares before consolidation then they now have 15,000 shares.
Also how the value of these shares are as of now 15,000 × 0.03p (todays bid price) = £450
The value of one share is 1 × whatever the bid price is not ×10!

Nice to so Eldose Babu maintaining his percentage holding after the dilution of last placing, take it as a positive for rbg and existing holders.
Also if Mark Ward has done the same then that would also show that they are determined to maintain a their stake in rbg at a certain level, maybe a good reason for that but not going to speculate.

Just wondered as some people are doing a comparison to S1 and S2 and ceg website states

Current Production Saffron 1 free flow but with no production completion

So does this mean S1 is not producing any oil.

They state Goudron is producing 220 to 250 bopd so strange S1 has no production flow.

Wish they had published results on time as all would be clear for shareholders.

Does anyone know exactly how many bopd S1 is currently producing.
