The pump and dump cycle continues

From a consumer point of view, I want to see authentic brand group by ASOS now, it makes for a interesting market dynamic

I still think Authentic Brands Group is the play.
They have a massive portfolio of fashion brands, plus own JC Penny in the US.
So would make sense to acquire Asos to round out their business.
Takeover over Asos for circa £1.6b, and spend a couple of years on cost reductions and expansion into the US as a main goal.
This would be good for UK consumers as gives competition to Fraser Group/Next et Al.

THG is being pumped and dumped. Gonna drop again now.

And my holding of Asos is 4000 shares.

Happened yesterday, and looks like happening today.
Funds drop and buy, raise and sell.
Rinse and repeat.

If a £1b offer lands in the context of these times it should be taken.
Pray for ASOS PI, pray for a £1b takeover offer.

THG got offered £1.7 a share and their BoD rejected, now look at their share price, only £0.4
Let's be realistic, if a £1b offer for ASOS comes then the PI need to unite and force the BoD to accept the offer.

Anyone hoping for an MCAP north of £4b will need to wait 18 months potentially based on macros and projections.

At the moment the whole market across multiple sectors are in M&A mode. Until Putin dies or the EU/UK switch overnight to renewable energy the markets will be stuck. The good news is that major funds are also getting screwed as the bull market has had its run and now we are stuck in global limbo.

Marshall Wallace are at 80% profit on their short position currently, so hope they get nervous and buy while they can.
Hopefully ABG acquire Asos for £1b.

Check her LinkedIn, they are on alot of boards, so maybe too many plates spinning and looking to reduce commitments.
