RE: Takeover Target27 Aug 2022 00:34
Talking realistically, no pumping or being rampy.
But what are the chances of a takeover forward 14?
Cutting all the crap, and just being objective about this share, it does seem reasonable for a fund to buy up Asos for 1.4b, and then just ride the market for 3 years and have an MCAP worth 3 times. Despite what some nay sayers and doomsters are chattering, Asos are well established, have a dominant position, in a market with less rivals as its more consolidated, and a growing user base.
Even if a temporary hold on mass clothing purchase, this is cyclical and eventually the trade in fashion will return to previous highs and profit yields.
Judging by the general change of the fashion retail channel, and operates aiming to increase profit margins (minimum order etc..), with Asos saying they are in the process of refinement, the eventuality is that the share can return to previous levels, as such a very big opportunity from here. With faith in the company, and market cadences this is a fantastic investment share. Plant and wait.
