I just made 107% return on my maxeon shares over the past few months, so happy to let Asos ride for a bit.
The only tumbling that will be happening is me into the local boozer and back out.

Authentic Brands Group owns Reebok, and Asos has come out saying they want to expand into sportswear more.
Plus Authentic Brands Group had tried to acquire Top Shop but we're beat by ASOS.
And considering the amount of brands and other things within Authentic Brands Group, it would make perfect sense to acquire Asos to sell the merchandise through.

Final thought for the day.
Wonder if Authentic Brands Group are considering a takeover.
Take into account all the sports brands and other IP they own, if they have a major fashion retailer they have leverage their products through they would have a very strong market position.

Explain why Asos were talking to city analyst's?
Why would they be discussing financials before official statements are released....
Follow the crumbs, seems like something is afoot.

I can see a bid of £1.6b landing, seems line a smart opening bid.
The BoD and major shares holders need to do more to justify not selling at that price.

Well it's all a bit complicated at the moment with Crown estate, which is naturally bottlenecking the energy resolution.

I find it hard to believe that Marshall Wallace are going to be able to buy the 2.2m shares they need without causing a massive price rise.

If you look at the historic short charts, we are at peak as similar occasions, however once the shorts start to close it's a fast transition.
And looking at the data this is apparently happening now.
However when the takeover bid is announced I'm looking forward watching the greedy shorts get smashed.

Asos has the power and market advantage. Golden opportunity being so cheap now.

Asos is perfect M&A target now. The chance to buy them up before the market takes off.
Taking all things into account, getting the company for anything under £2b is a bargain.
Asos are profitable, with a grandfathered client base, and a network of operations across the UK, USA, and EU.
Could see a UEA or China firm buy them as a play into new markets.

Gonna be some shorts that are losing out on closing positions when this was in the 6's.
Next level 8's coming, and once passed that the autos will launch this to 10's again fast.

Explains why city analyst have been talking to Asos management if they are in the process of asset classification and pricing.

As a share holder, I firmly support a takeover at the price starting £16 a share. Now is the time for ab investment firm or rival retailer to make an aggressive move.
By Xmas this share will be back at that level, so it's imperative that fast actions are taken to acquire this company.

If a nice £16 a share takeover happens, then watch the shorts brick it and desperately try to close their positions LOL

£16 to £22 a share seems reasonable.
£16 would kick start conversation, and bidding war driving this to £22 over a week.

Shorts playing chicken on who will first close position.
They know once the tide starts to turn it will be a mad dash to get the shares while cheap.

Speaking to some analysts at JPM over the weekend, and they seem to think that Asos being taken over now is feasible. From what they could say, there has been a few clients that have requested new audits and M&A due diligence to be ran.
Apparently interest from China, UEA, and US is doing the circuit of the City over last week.

We are a cross roads in the economy, there is lots of businessess being acquired, as shares are down providing the opportunity to takeover and start building for the market to adjust and start to climb again.

I would not be surprised to see a takeover bid for ASOS, solid business that could be bought now and make tons of money over a couple of years.
