Have to admit that I concur. I was an investor years ago in the George Ogilvie days, got stung, and more recently foolishly came to the conclusion that there was a viable recovery situation here. Apart from any other consideration this is too high cost, trying to compete with third world costs being paid by competitors. I can't say I am optimistic

Precisely DJ, and why I can't get enthused irrespective of grades. If this was AAUs only asset I would exit pretty fast. As a smaller part of a portfolio it's not ideal but not a deal breaker.

I personally don't have strong feelings about the institution that is the Monarchy, but I think she was a wonderful woman who genuinely worked hard and served the whole UK and Commonwealth. And yes, long live King Charles 111

Not sure what I feel about this. I seem to remember (I may be wrong) that our transatlantic correspondent is none too keen on Kosovo. Must admit to me it seems a less than ideal country to be investing in - if indeed it is a country as some, including Russia and China don't recognise it. I am fairly conservative, even Wales seems a well dodgy place to me,

Seems very strange to release such a negative update and then look for money. Given the usual discount given on placings we are looking at 8p and massive dilution. Very poor management of the situation. Ironically all on a day when the copper price looks a more positive

Good post Foz. Even if it is not positive. Exactly my thoughts when I read, 300m, with a MC of 25million sterling. JV with a partner taking 90+%? Or a takeover with ZNWD not holding many cards? Or the last (best?) hope of the EU waking up and providing some sort of package to secure a source of a hugely important source of a mineral whose need for their huge car industry is on a very near horizon?

I think we could be heading for a periodic of very negative sentiment as you say. I notice that at PMs questions the new PM (shudder) said no more windfall taxes for energy , but despite that BP and Shell both then shed 2%. That doesn't inspire confidence with me, and I agree that my sales are because I fear a path down to £4

It a cheap win for them, and one that would be popular with the public. However since the PM announcement BP has grown a bit, indicating that Truss is less likely to impose them - tempered perhaps by the fact a Truss victory is not exactly a surprise.

(4.44 + 4*1.03)/5 = 1.71, based on the current SP. But you will have 5 times as many shares as you have now.

I am not an investor here, if investor is the right word, but the SP will plunge when this goes ex rights so at the very least if you don't take up your rights then you should sell them (ie the rights). It is very deeply discounted

You have to question if there is a viable business here. Raise after raise, constant dilution
