The UK interest rate decision is scheduled today, 22nd. With the US increasing again, as I gather unexpectedly, yesterday I think there is more pressure to make it a chunky rise to support sterling. I feel very pessimistic about the UK economy as ultimately if interest rates are raised too quickly then our service economy will shudder to a halt given the amount of mortgage debt, so that option is restricted. Add to that we have an appalling new PM who looks like a rabbit in the headlamps, claims to be a woman of the people yet seems to think tax cuts for the elite is the way forward. It seems like a bad dream but I don't wake up.

Definitely with Pdub on this one, same course of action taken. Exciting, I've not filtered anyone for weeks

Trying to get my head round all the to's and fro's of the Enerox investment. I started from the earliest RNS forwards, but due to all the revisions I've changed tack and now starting from the latest backwards. I'm supposed to have an IQ of over 140, I'm beginning to think a few have disappeared over the years.

Unless I am misunderstanding 40% of 336m equity raise from a company with a MC of 30m? Not much left for current holders. This needs or be taken over or a Partner found. I cant have any confidence here despite the bullish talk.

Surely writing off the plant when all the heavy lifting has been done makes no sense? The independent reviews of the Tricoya product seem very good. If not profitable currently due to gas price surely it would be better to complete the plant as a low priority (as they are doing), continue to test it until satisfied then put it on a care and maintenance (to use a mining term) program until gas prices reduce which they surely will.
Initially writing off the investment there would not be good for the SP, but longer term I don't really feel I can speculate.
All this is my fault I'm afraid, I watched this share for ages attracted by the product but put off because it was run by the brother of the idiot politician Clegg. Then I decided for go for it, and the SP have been on a one way journey since! The damage has been caused by the wording in the RNS saying anything is possible. I still think that maybe full control of the Hull plant may prove to be a good idea, and the veiled threat of abandonment may be an attempt at brinksmanship with a recalcitrant workforce

Lithium will make investors millionaires and leave some mining companies with multi billion Market Caps. Question is which ones. Whether Zinnwald will be one of the successes or someone else ends up with the assets is a very, very big question. This is where we hope the management are as good as they think they are. Lithium prices appear to be on the move upwards again. We need a grown up partner in my view. I'd rather end up with (say) 20% of something than 100% of nothing.

Maybe the fear of re nationalisation talk explains this drop? Hopefully Starmer won't be as vocal as Corbyn was at the last GE. There will always be stories for all the privatised family silver industries - many of them privatised nearly 40 years ago (ah, multiple applications. Nostalgic, I remember it like it was yesterday!)

What's is your impression of the situation? Where will the £336m come from, other than massive dilution? A JV with an established partner taking a majority stake? Clearly £5.5m isn't going to scratch the surface
