I remember reading in one RNS that any recoveries from the Kosovan legal action (ha ha) was ring fenced for the benefit of the then current shareholders. Did i dream that as I can't find the reference now?

As for whether Walmsley should stay, the answer as far as I am concerned is the loss of the Unilevers generous offer for what is now Haleon, She has no right to stay in office.

Is there any indication how long this AIM extension is? Since the RNS of 27th October implied that suspension had taken place then surely there should be a further RNS reversing that? I assume once suspended do we need to look for company announcements on the company website as they won't appear elsewhere

Seems to me that both SAV and Zinnwald are in the same position. Lots of Lithium in the ground but as far away as ever from getting it mined. I was in SAV this summer for a bit and miraculously got out with a few hundred in profit. The same is not true with ZNWD where I got 'free' shares as part of the BCN takeover, added more to make a decent holding and am now well underwater!! Think the moral here is that it's no good having an increasingly valuable commodity in the ground if you don't get it out. How expensive those free shares were!

No rush TRutherford, I am increasingly convinced that we've all got caught here good and proper. With BP and Shell in the game because of incentives to minimise windfall taxes I think this minnow is pretty doomed. Interesting that after an initial flurry the positive RNSs have dried up. The business model is being questioned by the market as reflected in the SP that is now a less than a quarter of the IPO price.

Respect your opinion but seems odd that you want anything to do with a company you seem to think so little of, so not sure why you would be looking for an entry point at any price let alone 50p. That is why you are seen as a deliberate deramper by posters on this board.
Anyway, my own view is that this company has a potentially very good product but with a questionable management (or at least one that needs to prove itself).

I hadn't seen Ganfeng results but who can criticise them.?.They are a successful company run by a competent board who make money for their shareholders. In contrast to ZNWD and, fur that matter BCN. Shareholders in Ganfeng can look forward to the future with confidence. Can any Zinnwald posters say that in their hearts they feel the same?

Think I have totally lost my grip now as that looks like good news to me. The market thinks otherwise.

In many respects it no good being right and investing in the correct space far too early as others catch up, as you wait and wait and wait (and during that time often face negative return). Then years later, after in many cases giving up and selling, it all goes stellar and you miss it.
I have wondered whether it would be more productive to forget the research and simply develop a strategy of looking for 'chart breakouts' combined with a strict stop loss algorithm. That sort of strategy is only available to small investors in small companies with little institutional/ broker research.
Either that or premium bonds (or loose women).

Seems silly to me, or just plain desperate, that ZNWD put out the RNS as some sort of significant breakthrough. If this Epiroc is as big a company as has been said this MOU is probably no more to them than a tender - they probably do a dozen a month. They know ZNWD has no funding in place, so I doubt they are holding their breath, and if they are quoted I'll venture that they didn't bother putting an RNS. This was absolutely something and nothing and we are no further forward. It just gives ammunition, if that was needed, to fuel the argument that without a JV this is .... I can't bring myself to finish this sentence, add whatever you think apt.

Santhi I've seen this played scenario out many times. One of us will be right and hand on heart I honestly hope it's you because it doesn't matter at the end of the day who is right and who is wrong - we all want something at back rather than being wiped out. But I am very doubtful and the suspension of the quote means we are now passengers.

Is it ironic that it appears that the well qualified recovery specialists with the history of successful turn arounds are the ones that look like they have finally sunk this crock of ****?

The RNS shows that this is underwhelming as usual, another stalling gesture to give the useless BoD a breathing space. Over 300 million to build a mine, a market cap of under 24 million and a cash balance of two and a half pence plus anything that can be found amongst the fluff down the side of the sofa. This deal is just a potential paid for mining engineer should some miracle happen and funding is found. It brings in no revenue whatsoever. I would have been immeasurably happier to have read that the agreement was for Zinnwald to be given free carry up to production in exchange for Epiroc becoming 90% JV partner. It would be a vastly better situation for ZNWD shareholders than we have now. And if you scoff at those words then go and look at how the SP has reacted to yesterdays news. I'd rather have 10% of something than 100% of nothing.

Sadly (and I am involved here) I cannot ever recall reading an RNS with a tone like the one yesterday which it came out well for equityholders. The arguments about how much is in the ground and listing those with skin in the game is all well and good. But, as they said in the Godfather, this is business it's not personal. If the parties with the whip hand in potential control of these assets can get that control by wiping out current equity holders they will do so with no conscience or hesitation. Back to Its business, not personal.

Firstly I am a LTH with no plans to sell, which will hopefully prevent too much abuse!
Several times every year there are stories like this. I don't see any reason to believe this more than any others that routinely get churned out predicting $3000, $4000, $5000 gold especially as we are way off the peak gold price even before adjusting for inflation.
