I agree with the 5% discussion, its time to move on. I have watched Thursdays Proactive interview with SD a couple of times and was pretty well totally reassured by his reasons for there being no retail offering, and the implication that there may be no more dilution through equity placings/ rights issues (though I think the possibility remains open, which to be honest it needs to as no one knows of any hiccups along the way). Also was pleased to hear that the ASX listing will not necessary mean further shares will be issued, that was an education!
However the thing that really made me comfortable was the words from SB of NCM. What he said is utterly logical and totally understandable - 65m for 70%, but 60m for another 5% (due to derisking and exploration results) would be hard to justify to his S/Holders, compared to investing that money in other opportunities they have that haven't reached relative maturity. The only lingering question is that if NCM knew 40, 50, 60, 70million would not be attractive to them then why refuse GGPs offer of 85m? That is bad business, but great for us. But I think put it to bed and move one, I am certainly going to try to get some liquidity and invest more at or around this level if possible.
I am hoping that PoG will follow the recent slight strengthening of Cu. With production still likely in 2 years, if Gold reaches the far side of, say, $2000 then the SP should pick up very nicely even without further news of progress on the decline or the debt raise.
