So Venus has stalled, their IPO seems dead in the water as is the option at Apliki .
Apliki and Tavsan were the only candidates likely to reach fruition in the next 5, more likely 10; years.
Now there are question marks over both.
We have given was 76.5% of all Turkish assets now to Turkish companies. How exactly is their influence helping, god knows it has cost enough?
In the meantime Red Rabbit is running out.
Have I missed anything?

I don't clam any talent but the 'new' JV seemed wrong from day 1. Especially as Kiziltepe had literally just become debt free and we were 'enjoying' 50% of the profits (now of course 23.5%). I hate to quantify how much the loss of 26.5% of the 8years plus of Tavsan production will be let alone Salinbas. Certainly a whole lot less than was received as a capital sum, especially after deducting the apparently enormous fees, costs and taxation .Still feel cross thinking about it.

This has become a punt. Could go either way. There are pessimists on European lithium miners, there are optimists.
Of course the optimists could just wait for the current miners to go to the wall and buy the assets on the cheap.
Nice to see the tick up. If that persists into tomorrow then last weeks strength may look less of a false dawn, and may stick a bit better.

Well that news has set the share price on fire. I suppose the next presentation will show first production in Q4 2024. My own prediction is a decade or so later.

Darcey, would have been nice to have finished the week strongly but ..... I suppose over 26% in a week is no to be sneezed at. Lets just hope for positivity next week, truth is that we don't really know what caused this rise.

This drop is predictable after the rises, as soon as the price turns people panic and get put quick thinking it will just continue down. Hopefully the mysterious Mr Tindall will blunt the losses by seeing the drop as a buying opportunity.

Time will tell. Surprised it didn't react more to a major holding RNS 90 minutes before the close.

I still look on here but, as you say , it's not the same. For me one certain person just wrecked this for me, but then again he has as much right as me to post. I just chose to stop.
I certainly don't filter you, LoB, Claret, Van, Willowman and a few others. Nothing stays the same, except AAUs underperformance and magnetic attraction of the SP to the current level.
I am unhappy with the new JV, I was very vocally against it all along but I wish I had been wrong - we might all have been richer. My complaints are much the same as everyone elses, the lack of direction in Cyprus and apparent reluctance to use the position of strength at Venus, the potential loss of the option at Apliki, the sheer lack of progress and any defined path at Salinbas & Ardala after well over a decade of interest there (I would say ownership but now over 75% has been virtually given away), the lack of detail of the financing (if any) and timetable to production at Tavsan other than vague indications. Other projects in Eastern Europe seem sketchy and years away, and I doubt will reach fruition in my lifetime.
I am one of those who want a strengthened board and preferably a new Chairman. But I'm still here!

Nope, not for 5% margin that you might need to wait 6 months for, less buying costs. Unless there is a second bid but I wouldn't count on it, and if this falls through you'd be buying at a quid and it would be back in the 80s

Still no comparable movement in EMH or SAV, the opposite in fact.

Don't know, I'm just watching it. SAV and EMH aren't reacting in the same way. So could be just an outbreak of euphoria/ momentum/ herd behaviour

I hope so ALGU, I really do.
Lets hope its not a false dawn driven by only trend. Sooner or later there is bound to be some selling triggered.

We don't design mass market cars in the UK, our cars come largely from the EU and Japan which as far as I understand don't plan to ban IC car sales until 2035. In other words there will be a supply of IC models available worldwide until approaching that date at least. Given the uncoordinated mess that the EV charging network rollout is in the UK, I am of the opinion that the UK will eventually bite the bullet and align itself with EU and Japan (and the US which I think is also 2035). Our ridiculous government is great at making headline grabbing policy statements that they cant delver on and later retract.
