Todays RNS started pleased then gathered momentum so that exceptionally pleased was phased in during Dr Ss comment.
To be honest that was impressive, the build up of enthusiasm was timely and resulted in a well judged performance.
In fact you could say ..... I was pleased.

Essentially total sales value less all debtors of any sort including taxation, pension shortfall, less exorbitant fees from any lawyers, administration/ liquidators divided by shares in issue. But take heart, if its negative, as it most likely will be, then you won't owe anything. Your shareholding is simply worth zero, absolutely nowt. Welcome to AIM investment. Certainly seems the turnaround king, much heralded on the board, has made a right Royal **** up of this and, in all likelihood, wiped shareholders out.

Careful Van you are in danger of sounding as miserable as me! In the company's defence (most unlike me) the return if capital implied by the special divis should be added to the SP for comparison purposes. I agree 100% that the board are not up to this, as evidenced by most people's disquiet now about the wisdom if the Ozalton deal and asset giveaway- it was the same board that drove that through

I would hope that the EU initiative could give rise to a bid from a well funded predator. That may not be everyone's hope here, but I can only say my preference!

I think you can say one thing about this news, for believers this could be an huge opportunity. Who here would bet against seeing 2.5p in this coming week?
All the projects mentioned are public knowledge so will be being valued in the market cap, but at a heavily discounted rate. That discounting is probably penal as a result of the glacial progress made on every single project AAU has been involved with!
Seems odd that an environmentalist has devoted himself to precious metals! Maybe that's where the copper comes in. Talking if which, I wonder when we will hear any more from Cyprus? This year or next?
I agree that you we very rarely see any RNSs that don't include 'are pleased'. But then again how many times do we see one that causes significant increase in price. In fact in my 7 years to date there was one!
Even the timing, snuck in just 30 minutes before Friday close annoyed me, so I'm probably just best left to grumble.
So, assuming that this problem at Tavsan doesn't result in significant redesign of the plant to satisfy the environmentalists, when do we now think first gold will be poured from ore mined there? The end of 2023 was already looking doubtful to me, maybe Q1 2025?
