Agree. If you look at the SP either there is an imminent decrease in divi or this is the biggest bargain around. A yield of over 10% when interest rates are a maximum of 5% and likely to decrease as inflation comes down? I can understand that with an ill researched AIM share but something like Vod (who were I believe once the company with the highest cap on the FTSE) is analysed up, down, left, right and sideways by the city. i don't get it. Having got stung in the Carillion debacle I am wary of big name, very high yielding shares.

I think its taking a different course, defying gravity in the face of falling oil and gas. I was expecting sub 20 when I just checked the price for the first time in a few days.

Thanks meoryou, an educated response to that to a genuine question is how these board should be used imo. My experience of other boards is dreadful!

Thinking of investing more here, but undecided. It seems likely that the next general election will bring a Labour government, albeit one with probably a weaker majority than they would like (or indeed no overall majority at all). However one suspects another Lib/ Lab coalition, both of whom are being vocal about draconian windfall taxes. The point of my question is where does that leave BP, and is a weaker oil price in a sense good for BP as it still produces good profit but weakens the case for even more taxation when compared to when Brent was $120?

I know I may get shouted at for not paying attention in class, but what happens to the marble business in this fresh new world? Is it going to be quietly forgotten about or will the glass fibre houses be vended resplendent with marble bathrooms and floors? I tried to find the latest presentation on the website and failed.

I bailed some time ago, and I must admit I haven't regretted the decision for a day. I shall duck the insults as they come at me but this guy TC really was a one trick pony, think he's had about a decade since Dana, this is just a lifestyle company for him and his family. In my defence I sincerely hope I am wrong for continuing investors sakes.

Okay, okay I admit it. I bailed on 9th May at 1.58p driven by the euphoria of unexpectedly getting my bet back (I still hesitate to use the term investment here).

But a bit of FOMO, with May 26th on my mind and the sinkage of the offer price to 1.2p meant I was tempted to buy my 100k shares back this afternoon. I almost went back in with the full proceeds from my sale but I still see Fox as very much a gamble which may disappear. Be interesting to see how much the ex rights price drop is (rights as in the litigation proceeds rights). However I played it I was bound to regret my decision!

Fred, you ask what has the 'amazing BOD that we have now' delivered for GGP. Well as I said yesterday a 75% drop in SP since the sainted Mr Day took up his position as CEO for a start. That's quite an achievement. Maybe one of the interviewers on his many broadcasts will summon up the balls to ask him directly to justify that eye watering drop in value for long term shareholders. I guarantee that the excuse, sorry answer, will begin condescendingly with the word 'look'.

Well it's started well again today. The difference between genuine long term holders like me who critisise performance and the SD fan boys who seem to think that they own the board, is that generally we take issue with the company and board rather than verbally abuse other posters because their views differ from theirs.

Sadly Truth I have seen similar arguments about Petropavlovsk and many others, but they never come to any good outcomes for small investors. I dont know why we bother. I am sad for investors here, it is crap. A friend of mine invested here, personally I couldn't see it as they just seemed to be buying into masks manufacture etc at inflated prices after the boom had climaxed. I had plenty of other places to lose my money!

Look at the share price graph. You may not like it but the evidence is there. None of us LTHs want to critisise your hero but we don't want to lose 75% in 2 years either, All this while others say we are being horrible to him. We are being negative because we have eyes.

when he took up the office of ceo in february 2021, just 2 years ago, the ggp sp was over 26p. its now less than 7p. it is 75% down. when will people stop implying he is the second coming, his custodianship has been truly appalling for long term shareholders and its still heading towards zero. he and his mates are ok though, don't worry about them. wake up and smell the coffee, the sun does not shine out of this blokes ****.
