Of the 3 primary targets identified only 2 were breached. I have read before that the third (the Sorpe?) was potentially the most strategically significant. Do they comment of how much more effective the operation would have been if that had also been breached? Proud to say my Dad was Lancaster navigator.

It is odd the way the British have taken to Indian food with such alacrity - curry is now most peoples idea of our national dish! Maybe its because our food is quite bland, plus the influence of the large Indian/Pakistani community here. I admit I love it. When I have travelled abroad I barely ever see an Indian restaurant. I certainly don't recall ever seeing one in, say, a French ski resort. Even the smallest towns in the UK usually have a choice of 2 or 3.
My prefer dishes are medium strength, say 5 on your scale. I don't like to be challenged by my food, either whilst eating or the following day! By contrast my mate Martin always has a 'naga', as I understand it a particularly hot chilli. Its a standing joke that I always have a spoonful to remind myself why I never order it myself.
Nice to see AAU stabilised at a higher level, helped by a little strength being shown by gold itself. I suppose the BOD may surprise us but there is likely to be a dearth of news for a few months until drilling on the major prospects recommences. News from current drilling at Arzu North will emerge which could provide impetus, along with a Kizilcukur update but I doubt the latter will be a share price mover.
Of course your dignified, modest and magnificently intelligent President is damaging my other major investment at the moment. The US shale industry must love him.

Yes, have thought that before though, as someone pointed out in an earlier post (either on here of ADFVN), the spread is usually < 15%, more maybe 5% (or a little more). Certainly enough to deter day trading.
For good or bad I am holding, as I think are several of the enthusiastic holders here who are a font of AAU knowledge.

I'm not overly concerned provided the oil flows as expected to be honest. Provided that happens as hoped I think there is significant upside at lower PoO than this

A sharply lower PoO will no doubt hurt the SP short term but will increase pressure for cuts in production. That would be better for HUR long term. After all we are still a couple of months away from FOIL, so its the PoO then that matters not today.
As an aside I loathe Trump. I hope one day we see him with a ball and chain on his ankle in a uniform with arrows on.

Well the US markets are down 3% across the board and idiot Trump is threatening legal action for oil price fixing against OPEC - despite the fact that he has been oil price fixing by effectively blackmailing KSA over Khashoggi for several weeks.
Could be a bit of a test for the new found strength of our little tiddler tomorrow.

Makes sense, I hadn't spotted that information anywhere, kind of assumed that was logically the case but good to have it confirmed by someone better informed. Underground is obviously far more expensive, not only to mine but also I assume to make safe when the pits are eventually abandoned. I remember at the AS meeting in May, when it was mentioned that there is provision in the accounts for 'beautifying' the site environmentally when all the ore has been extracted. Whether the plant is abandoned or physically moved to somewhere like Salinbas I have absolutely no idea! I expect they have a plan

Agree about 2, even though Dr S has raised the possibility of Heap Leaching at Kiziltepe the size of plant required at Tavsan would be on a different scale.
I like the idea of the additional ball mill at Kiziltepe, for several reasons:
Potentially expands production very quickly
Cost efficient, cant see any need for another loan as the JV will presumably have $1m down the back of the sofa
Builds in an element of redundancy in what must be a stressed part of the processing.

I get the feeling that the additional ball mill decision may have been made already, it has been mentioned a few times now, both by PG and in presentations. I don't know about timescales, but installing that at Kiziltepe combined with the stockpile of ore there is already would take the time pressure off needing Tavsan in production in order to get 50,000 oz by 2021

Inevitably the content of these presentations covers much the same ground, but there is always something.
In this case it was the detail that Arzu South, which (to date) contains the richest veins, is to be mined for a further 2 years. Obviously it would be naïve to think that the current high grades will continue until the pit is exhausted, but still encouraging. One question that occurs when looking at the slide is that Dr S points out that mineralisation continues between Arzu North and South under cover rock. Does anyone know if they plan to mine this or not? I assume that means underground mining, but what do I know!
A second question was if Ivrindi ore is considered truckable to Kiziltepe when it is 100 km away, then why isn't Tavsan ore truckable if that is only 70-75 km distant? Is it just the desire for a second plant because the Kiziltepe plant could not be expanded to 50k production?

Sorry, I cant pretend to be competent to comment on the direction of any Markets (is anyone?), especially in a world where idiot Trump controls the US. I just look at individual shares who I think have (positive) prosepcts that give them at least partially independence of overall market fluctuations.
