I wouldn't reply to anything you, or anyone else for that matter, posted with anything like the sarcasm you are displaying towards a simple opinion that I expressed this morning. An opinion I stand by, presumably to your continued annoyance. I have every right to post, you don't own this board.

Jean Jacques is alive and kicking as far as I know, though if recent photos are anything to go by I doubt he takes his top off to perform anymore.
Back to HUR, I did bore people with the astounding news that I sold a few shares a little while ago, using the profit on them to buy one daughter a fridge freezer and give a similar amount of cash to the other one. At the time I agonised about selling those relatively few shares at nearly 59p. had I made a stupid decision? Turns out now it was pretty much the best investment decision this year!

As I have said before, I believe this company has something, but at the same time I am not blindly optimistic about Salinbas/Ardala. Hopeful yes. Sold on it as a nailed on company maker no.
While I understand your scepticism, my own take on the company is that to date I haven't been let down. Unlike so many other AIM companies this one hasn't bombed after unfulfilled promises. Looking back over the last couple of years where have been the operational failures? There has been criticism by some on the Corporate front I agree, and peoples opinion on that front I respect. But they are delivering the product promised, in larger quantities and at far lower cost that were predicted. Kiziltepe (and surrounding satellites) production seems almost a given at the moment, and is a cash generator for exploration in the north East.
So to me the big question is Salinbas - will it happen, how soon, how big. That is the primary reason for my attendence on Thursday, because I have never got a feel for it. Maybe its me? My other reason in going is whether Tavsan is on schedule. That is a doubling of production, if it is being delayed I would like to know the reasoning.
As my previous post stated I will raise the question of dividends, and will try to give feedback on the Q&A session wihin a couple of days of the meeting unless covered elsewhere by media presentation or on ADVFN..
On a lighter note I was in Birmingham city centre yesterday and there was a bloke selling Trump toilet paper. Superb! Each sheet has his stupid face on. Was very tempted!

To be honest I think the road has been done to death, and if we want to gain any information in the session I don't think raking over old ground will help. It was in me who asked about the road in the AS meeting in May as I could see that it ran very close to the mined area from the pics on the slides. It was also me that asked Dr S via email about who financed it when news of the road works came out. I personally don't want to pursue it further, though maybe some other attendee may.
Similarly I am reluctant to ask about dividends, because from my own business experience I cant see that it makes sense not to pay any. A public company wont inaugurate divident payments when it cannot be reasonalbly that assured that those payment will continue, and I don't think they can say that. Secondly none of us want a cash raise, either through debt or issue of equity. To pay a dividend, which in any case will be trivial, will starve the company of funds to explore Salinbas/Ardala which we alll believe could be the company changer. So my heart is not in the question, but I will introduce it if no one else does.

Lived in Notting Hill when I was at Uni between '76 and 1980. One of the girls in the house was a lass from Leeds, named Lyn though I cant remember her second name. Quite friendly with her, she was a stripper who knew the Stranglers well. I remember speaking to Jean Jacques Bernal on the phone when he called to talk. Anyway Lyn was one of the strippers arrested at the Stranglers concert in Battersea Park, they stripped to Nice and Sleazy - used to be on youtube but couldn't find it when I looked.

Quite ok SG. I'm sure you don't want my premature demise, if only because my daughters would rub their hands in glee and flog all my shares, leading to further downward pressure on HURs SP because of my vast holding (I wish).

Maybe this time next week, after the rearranged shareholder meeting, things will feel different. Cant promise on the SP though!
I still think that this company is just not getting the message over to the wider investing public - in contrast the people posting on this and other boards have instant recall of more detail than maybe even the BOD do!
