Distribute the dosh to the shareholders and shuffle off into the sunset or start exploring again elsewhere? How does anyone see this panning out?

With you on that Fred. I am a long term holder and have far too many shares for comfort. I have no real doubt this venture will ultimately succeed.
BUT
After 2 failed attempts we cannot avoid the probability that a further failure will cause a sell off . Although I hope that another failure is unlikely, I do agree that 40p would be a possibility if that were to occur. That is one reason that I think the next attempt will be delayed until we get very benign conditions .

Hi VanVan etc. Agree with your words, timing wise I think its the same as last year. Don't know why they delay till March, maybe it's to see how Q1 is proceeding and whether the Winter is going to significantly affect Q1? Maybe they just time RNS to give a consistent news flow. It is possible that we get an interview today about the guidance.
Re future news dont forget that Kizilcukur drilling has been gong on thorughout winter and is now over 50% complete. That itself could produce some very good news I suspect, a decision on how to get it into the JV and maybe the plant enhancement you suggest in order to process it.

As expected. Nice there was no accompanying negativity about anything, ok so it was a wet winter but the stockpile will bridge any loss of new mined ore. Plus some ore is being trucked in from Kizilcukur during summer. 5g/t should ensure good Quarterlies throughout 2019. This RNS wont help or harm the SP

I think 5m oz would do. Assuming half would be lot to current or future JVs, and my usual other assumptions that would give us a net of costs revenue of £1.5bn unless I've got my sums wrong! Looked at that way 20p a share, leading to a market cap of £200m would seem attainable! But lets not get carried away.

I think the A class has always been FWD, since it was first introduced. I used to buy Alfas when I was young, but gradually they all became FWD so I stopped. I did buy a (FWD) Alfasud, thinking I would hate it. Apart from trying to kill me I have to admit I totally loved it, so nice to drive - Id love to have one as a classic but the chances of finding one without terminal rot are negligible!

Funny DJ should mention drinking, I've been on my monthly 'serious deliberation' with good friends in the centre of B'ham (incidentally Claret. I am not a Villa fan, in fact I have no team, but for some reason now take an interest in Burnley since they feature disproportionately amongst posters here - plus they share colours!).
I think we are approaching this from 2 different angles here - prospectively and retrospectively. To base on past SP performance in the light of emerging information is ok but assumes past SP is correct. Conversely prospectively relies upon making sense of likely future cashflows based upon a conservative view of what we know and an assumption on POG/ POS etc.
Don't ask me, I've been drinking!! Gut reaction ….. 4-5p short term, 10p if current scenarios work out as we hope, long term depends on Salinbas and could be significantly higher.

Agree Van but given that Q1 was by far the weakest last year, presumably through weather impact, maybe they want to see if it is impacted again? Obviously we have ore mined in advance but (and I am assuming here) it can still freeze into a solid lump? Don't shoot me, its just a thought!!

With the POG:POS ration about 80:1 I think we are still primarily a gold producer (by value) but the silver is nevertheless very welcome!

Even if they decide upon a second ball mill I doubt it would be commissioned much before the end of 2019. Therefore with the current plant utilisation pretty much 100% I would go 26000 - 28000 oz guidence. That would also fit in with the under promise/ over deliver philosophy that we have come to expect - Q1 2018 was the weakest quarter at <5000 oz, which will hopefully be improved upon in Q1 2019, I would hope that the actual 2019 production will be more like 30000 oz. As for 2020 onwards, I don't think we can say yet. With a second mill 40000 oz possible?

I agree, that was last series, he was good as the spaced out convict on parole on the edge of sanity? Its an underrated series.
So I take it poor weather likely the next couple of weeks? I've sort of given up watching now - not that I'm not interested, still have a silly amount of shares - in fact bought a few more earlier in the week.

Just discovered that there is a crime drama series on BBC called 'Shetland' because it is set in … well guess you can work that out.
Doubt there will be as many scary moments, dramatic pauses and suspense as holding shares in HUR provides

Nice to have you post, especially one who has been aware of the company so long.
The most immediate drilling is at Kizilcukur which is part of the Western Turkey operations. This is a winter drilling program, currently about half way through. This prospect is not currently part of the current JV, but some of us expect this to be resolved this year as trial processing is due to take place this summer at the JV owned processing plant. The other, more major drill is to start in the 2nd quarter in NE Turkey at Salinbas. This is 2000 metres of reverse circulation drilling (see YouTube to see good videos on RC drilling). As to when will we get results I don't know!

I do Claret, still waiting for a weather window so they can dock their EPS on the waiting buoy and start pumping oil. Its a waiting game like here.
I dont feel comfortable to recommend investments to people, but there is always plenty of activity on the HUR board to read! i dont really post there tbh.

Well I decided to have a little dabble, 250k, to test how my new stock broking account works. Over an hour ago but isn't showing on the trades tab on this LSE site. Wonder how many others don't show?
I now cant touch anything in my Barclays Account, its effectively locked. I just hope that means they are transferring fairly sharpish, rather than string out the transfer in order to extract monthly fees - the monthly fees are one of the reasons I am transferring. Of course they wouldn't do that would they? I do have previous taking them to the Ombudsman, so hopefully they will think twice about that!
