As BSL says Russia would not allow POLY or any other such companies based in unfriendly jurisdiction to cherry pick and play around with Russian businesses eg. not allow Russian operations to pay divis to POLY shareholders, not allow POLY to sell its Russian operations, not grant new mining licenses in Russia to POLY etc etc.

The whole idea in redoming to Kaz is that it opens up such doors and enables POLY to protect and even shareholder value.

Whats the latest with spring offensive. On Aljazeera Prighozin of Wagner Grp says they have captured Bakhmut. Ukrainne says that is not true but situation is dire.

Bug-baloney...todays sanctions by US changes nothing as POLY have nothing to do with US. The risk going forward is potentially UK adopting the same sanctions, but by then POLY will have left UK shores...hopefully. It is a wake up call to those intending to vote against redom that staying listed in its current form on the LSE is just not possible as it will get frozen out by both the UK and Russia sanctions. POLY is only safe in Kaz...end of.

Just spoke to POLY IR and they told me its the Russian arm of Polymetal International which is under new sanctions imposed by the US OFAC. It does not impact Polymetal International Holdings company listed in London. They also said the company lawyers will be looking at the news coming out of the US and will provide RNS sometime next week.

From what I have observed, that is the case so was a little bemused. Anyway, the newly imposed US sanctions have now taken centre stage it seems and that is driving the price for now.

IMO POLY have to redom no ifs no buts. Undecided poly holders have to choose between selling up or voting to redom. There is no other way.

If you want to stay invested in POLY, you need to vote against redom like you need a hole in the head.

Redom is now a must and the undecided have to make a choice between selling up or voting to redom. Staying listed on LSE is no longer an option.

US have imposed sanctions on POLY Rus and highly likely UK will follow in the near future.

Theres more sell transactions to the MM than buy transactions from MM, but value of buy transactions exceeds buys.

Lets get things into perspective.

The new sanctions are imposed by OFAC which stands for The United States Foreign Assets Control which means the sanctions are NOT imposed by UK. The UK may get around to imposing the same sanctions but we are not there yet.

Further, please not Polymetal Kaz have not been included in OFAC sanctions.

These sanctions hurt the west lot more than it hurts Russia. Last year, UK sanctioned Petropavlovsk Plc (largely UK owned company) a gold producer, making it impossible for it to trade in Russia. Company could not pay back loans to Russian bank and so went into liquidation. The beneficiary in all this was Russia.

We are doing the same to POLY

But we should hold firm as Business in Kaz is not sanctioned and that is worth lot more than the current sp.

SH should vote to redom and get the hell out of UK.

Think the new round of sanctions is playing on the markets with UK sanctioning Russian diamonds, as well as Putins decree in late April threatening taking control of business registered in non friendly jurisdictions.

Redom must happen to protect and grow shareholder value.
