Your post clashed with another rant from self...Wish I had the ollocks to do as you and hats off cos selling is by far the hardest decision to make. Afternoon DBarnet. Well I suppose the technology works just fine and from the little news flow the medicos are impressed which as we know means sfa if nobody buys the product. So I guess the call is will they buy P in enough nos to make this Co viable? That's the $m question. I have no idea or answer. I think it will, perhaps should but it ain't written so we are no further down those cobbled streets than 6 months ago and that's a big worry for twitchy investors. As ever your exposure to Sphere will guide you in making a decision based on available news. As for myself I'm way too heavilly invested to cut and run now which is entirely based on my cash invested not on what the news/sp is telling me to do and therein lies my quandary. Do I out or risk further falls / dilution or suck-up it up yet again? Too late now for me. I have been here before and got out by the skin of my teeth and being a committed pessimist lighting don't strike twice in my favour. As ever it's only a very jaundiced view from a disgruntled lth, not at the bod they don't give a toss about the likes of us but at my sheer stupidity in believing the unbelievable!

Agree all your points cc and for sure no (a). For all we know Roche might be charging BG tests for nix they can certainly afford to! However I don't think the cash strapped NHS was ever our no 1 priority for Proxima. Europe was always the main target for obvious reasons not least the size so a lukewarm UK while it's disappointing I'm not that surprised as our record in taking new tech to the market has not been enviable. If Europe shows little interest come year end then I'd hazard a guess we are for the knackers yard or have one foot in the grave. Let's see what happens re: funding and who we are talking to and of course the terms which are highly unlikely to please pis! A sale (30k) so not relevant as there must be few pis left on the books to sell! Whatever Sphere's record in numpty rns continue to amuse and confuse.

So what's new in the wonder world of Sphere? In talks with potential investors....well I never! I'll have to read that again just to make sure...sensors yea we knew about that and as rev pointed out some of us took a dim view of that...sales none to clever atm....Some of us expected that....no doubt there will be other excuses a'ready for the F/Y....sales cycle 9+ months, jeez have we not heard that before...6 hospital ordered is that much of an increase?.....patient evaluations have started, what does that mean? Pathetic! Only one way the stock is going today...

So add Carillion to the long list of stock market scandals that have cratered the value of the co and investors hopes. In CLLNs case one of issuing misleading info to investors just before discovering a massive £850m black hole in the accounts leading to huge write offs. Begs the question what the accountants and auditors were doing signing off the latest financial statement? How did they miss this? Was collusion involved? Regretably this is symptomatic of the lax regulation rife in the London market where pis are at a huge disadvantage where the level of manipulation by iis, brokers and the self serving Co boards looking after their own interests above those of their shareholders, makes it almost impossible to make informed judgements re investing over any time frame almost impossible. With the culture of shorting, effectively making money from value destruction the complete polar opposite from investing as most know it, has made a mockery of markets in recent years. While this remains a legitimate form of investment strategy and a subject too large to go into here more cases will arise in the future of that there is no doubt! However whilst regulation appears lax over the whole market....not just AIM, the small pis will be unprotected. While money talks, those with it usually get what they want when they want and at the 'price' they want.This effects the pis who slowly but surely is being squeezed out of the market be it by financial ruin or driven to short term speculation to survive. Speaking of which your friendly stock broker who encourages you to churn stocks to receive a more favourable comission fee are at times so blatantly obvious in their agendas (ramping stocks/ front running etc) along with the shorters and their merry band of minions paid to trash sentiment at the first sign of trouble have collectively destroyed the idea of investing as we once knew it. Noone ever said life is fair or the playing field is level but the markets are so one sided and infested with those lacking in morals or integrity that pis are well advised to seek safer regulated havens for their money. One can only hope that those who delight in the losses of investors will one day get their 'comeuppance'. To those I have nothing but disdain for their miserable existence. Most of us have suffered one or two disasters (the price of doing business) I guess and that's acceptable but what most certainly is not, incompetent boards and underhand dealings by Directors, of which there are many increases my belief that markets are rotten to the core and no longer the place for the pis to place their savings unless they are extremely 'savvy' and fleet of foot which unfortunately means none of us. Don't know why I started on this as I'm fully aware of the pit falls a pis has to overcome to play the game. I guess it's the gambling instinct or stupidity that keeps me going but by God when I read the CLLN stuff i really should quit for good.
