There's an AIM Pharma co (CLIN) valued at £1.1bn which made wait for it.....£13.5m net last year...there's hope for us yet!!

Looks like asking 6 is going to stick for the mo. My lowest was 5.4499 So I could av up if that was my one and only purchase. Phew!! Will watch throughout the session but gut feeling.... 6 is about the cheapest today unless there are any unreported/ late trades.....or DB's large buy coming up!

I'm holding off for now as we might be getting a re-run of '15s raise. For instance a placing of 100-150m at 5 and a 10m OO at 5 to raise £7.75M. It could just work 1Om in an OO is a fair bit more than last time and might take some swallowing. Rejig the figs to suit.....

Yea me too!! I remember swearing I would no take up the offer under any circumstances and landed up subscribing for 10k from memory. What a mug!

For those who were fortunate enough to not take part in the '15 OO there was a Placing component to the raise as well, in which Woodford and the Wales fund both invested £4m. The OO sought funds for 7.426m shares from qualifying holders with the issue price at a c 20% discount. Thought I'd make that clear if you are a later than 2015 investor.

Yesterday's c 236k of buys stemmed the fall to the low 5's. No Rns so far which gives the Barrow boys free rein to shake out some more twitchy investors....goodness me I didn't think we had so many on the books...so no doubt a few more will be tempted. But I prefer the buy side as c 5 barely covers the f&f on our balance sheet....heh heh heh! As ever the risks are obvious the rewards less so but we're used to this state of affairs so it's tin hats time if funding has hit a roadblock.

Was it really 24 months ago the OO at 16 took place? Sure was and the stock closed on the last day of the offer (22/4/15) at 18.5 mid. The shares did not tank on the news buoyed by the 90%+ of acceptances, in fact trading over 20 for a couple of weeks. By early May we were in line with the OO price. Through the summer the sp trended upwards of 17 but come end Aug we had fallen back to 13. Losing 35% in 4 months was a shocker and worse, c 38% by year end. Will this time be any different? Probably if no OO element. So best wait for some clarity on the matter for nobody wants to lose another 70% well not us pis who won't be invited to the party imo. Need this sorting pronto!

Found a few quid down back of sofa am mulling whether to get some sub 6 (if poss) and pre funding? I had a couple of 'hunnered' ear-marked for the Open but that's an odds on losing bet where Sphere is more a 7/4 shot to turn me a profit over time. Sods law we get an rns this morning which kiboshes my chance. Should that be so I cannot see 6 lasting unless investors see the placing in a negative light. As ever it's the price that counts so perhaps prudence is the right course of action. But for a punter I think not.

Yup have the same problem. Have to re- read every bloody sentence to make sure words have not been added, changed and watch out for numbers, very very tedious. These mobs may have more power than the first space shuttle but when they think they are cleverer than you!!..No doubt the advances in technology has been staggering, its said that for a 1971 VW Beetle car to have kept up with technology as we know it today, it would do 3000mph, 1 million mpg and cost $1.Thank you Steve jobs and his 2007 I Phone. Talking of which a recent survey reported 60% of people interviewed said they'd rather give up sex for a year than their mobile. Blimey I'd have thought that was on the low side! No doubt mobs are right up there with the great inventions of history, TV, paper/ press radio, the light bulb, fire, wheel, motor car etc...being connected in an instant to the outside world is a drug most cannot do without.

Well all I can say if your using stop losses on a share like Sphere you bloody deserve to lose money! By all means use one 'but in yer heed!'

Little point in forensically (Heh heh heh) investigating yesterday's and today's action but I've started so I'll finish. Yesterday total value of trades was c £14.7k and the sp fell around 10%. Today the combined value of trades was c £17k the stock barely moving. Ok I grant you yesterday was following the poor Rns of last Friday and today we have time for some sober reflection. Yet the contrast could hardly be more different given the known knowns, yesterday predominantly sells today largely buys, yet the sp did not reflect the change in sentiment. I wonder why? I often question the current method of valuing companies as unfit for purpose and open to the wishes of city spivs, mates and preferred investors over the ordinary Joe. I have to ask why do so many pis believe that to be true? We're not all unthinking lemmings are we? Unfortunately my secretary was off today so i was unable to buy first thing as I cannot transfer cash from my Bank account to HL and then purchase shares as this operation involves around 100 differing operations on two web sites which is beyond my press start press off mobile skill set. Whatever I did not expect the stock to regain losses of Fri & Mon which has been nicely manoeuvred imo to coincide with the placing price which God forbid is above current. Cannot have that! So watch the price rocket up 0.125 on news of a successfull funding round then drift lower as it has done without fail since 2011. Sphere is norhing if not consistent. Disregarding the quadrupling of the original share capital, Sphere has lost 93% of its value since the IPO. While this is in no way a record, the wonder is we are still standing and have investors queuing up to lend us money. That truly is a miracle as our begging bowl is full of dashed hopes and torn up betting slips. If I could have an out of body expierence and go back to that fateful day of my first purchase of Sphere stock, what would I tell myself? " DON'T BLOODY DO IT JL....DON'T BLOODY DO IT!!"

DB...been down the pub too long with disgruntled holders to make any informed opinion or comment. I wanted to add this morning but my secretary (she who knows how to transfer cash to HL and then buy stock....its a torturous process far beyond my light bulb changing capabilites) was away enjoying herself. Whatever as I see it what has changed since 13/7? Not a lot.

Any lumpy seller will have to take his pants down for a half sensible price atm. The barrow boys giving this the bums rush. If you consider a bird in the hand to be worth more than two in the bush or I'll get some cheaper post placing...bon chance!

Back in early March we traded as low as 5.45 (ask) for several sessions before the last spike up to 8.75 (mid). No need to panic....just yet!

Sub 6 now....next stop?

If we take 30 as the start date (this year) of hospitals receiving a 'tutorial' then 38 as of the last update in May (+8) and the lead time as much as 9-12 months to purchasing how many will place orders by years close? We know that 6 have placed orders since launch part of the 30 with more likely to come from that initial batch. We have added 8 (38) as of May update and assuming they all place orders we won't be seeing that until well into next year. For sure others will be evaluating P extending the order pipeline well into 18/19 as Europe & UK gather pace. TD est this years rev's at under £400K. I'm pencilling in a lot less but look for more in '18.

Since MAB rns total value of stocks traded.... buys & sells amounts to c £23k!! That has tanked the mrkt cap by c £3m!! All figs off top of my head. Go figure....

Less than 0.172% of the stock was traded yesterday yet the Barrow boys saw fit to trash the stock c 10%. If you inc volumes since MAB it amounts to 0.265% and the sp has been taken down c 29%! Makes no sense at all unless the MM's are aware of some very bad impending news..If they did we wouldn't be at 6 would we! So i discount that scenario and put it down to MM games yet do they need c 200k shares that badly? Has a human brain been involved or is it those bloody machines? Surely were not plugged into those faceless monsters!?

Well 5 has been my guess for sometime now which would mean increasing the shares outstanding by c140%. SVB loan plus year end cash balance was c £4.5m with (£1.5m in reserve). We should have at this time a min of £3.75m so a raise to bring us back to £10m means a c £6m+ raise. If it's more than that then the likes of our top 5 investors might want to keep their % holdings along with some new SVB clients. It's immaterial to pis who invests even the terms as long as they are not ridiculously skewed in favour of the new investors. It would be nice to see them paying more than 6 that might put a floor under the stock as they would be committed lth's. An imminent Rns is on the cards, certainly before the week is out so 200@5 or 100@6.5?
