I'm not sure which was more exciting...Sphere's manic three trades on the day, or the Konta v Halep game...heh heh heh!! Ok the Konta game wins that argument! When 3 trades over a session elicit comment on a BB, goodness me we must be in trouble. My comment re some news must have/might have leaked was just a bit of fanciful banter of course. With a trade approx every 6+ hrs (this wk's av) one can see the uphill struggle we have so the mm's are happy to keep a level book as they know demand always fizzles out. So let's put it down to the summer blues and pray come early Sept vols & dealings will have considerably improved.

As expected pretty easy for VW got a bit of a game in second set but she exposed JO's obvious shortcomings. Still she's only 20 and sort out her service she's a future winner.

If your hypothesis is half right they are very lucky to get in at this give-away price. That 50k buy of rugs would have cost me c £15k + back in the day! So very lucky indeed.

We have had quite a few 2 "zero trade" days, one 3 and one 4. The record stands at 5 "zero trade" days last seen Feb 2014. Tough one to match but Sphere can do it and most likely this month.

VW 8/11---- JO 5/4...what I feared has come to pass. When I placed my bet on JO (after the French) I was hoping she would be in the other half of the draw, away from VW. I thought it was a risk worth taking. Not waiting to see the draw has most likely cost me....my usual impetuous self! The 5/4 on JO is a sucker bet, VW will have to be seriously off her game to lose this one.

Oh dear this is painful to watch. Struggling on your service game might scramble through here but against VW who can serve her way out of trouble...little chance.

Yea the tdf was compelling watching (esp the down hill sections) couldn't fig out why Frome didn't win yesterday stage leading with 100 to go? JO on first at 11.30 Got everything crossed.
