Once in a while I trawl b/boards of companies I used to have shares in or am considering an investment if I ever win the lotto. Seems a number are suffering from boredom when vols are less than a million it's a slow day and the bete noir of pis the short sellers and the corruption in the London market (dodgy dealings of the Barrow boys).... particularly in the Precious Metals sector are the most popular themes...... after ****ging off the CEO of course! We must be lucky as our only moan is we are never told anything....well now and again. I reckon one of the independent directors should write to holders every quarter in letter form as to what the co are doing, what the strategy is, what hospitals are being targeted, where the sales force are concentrating their efforts, are we seeing an increase in interest leading to.. (no need for figures) as I would like to be treated not as a faceless member but as a trusted co-owner and long term partner who charges the board as managing partners to manage our affairs & assets equitably over time and not on a monthly share price performance. The long term expectation is my main concern and the board will be judged on that basis. Time for CEOs to 'walk the talk.' If you can't let the NED do so.
