If you have intentions to buy and hold RR for longer than 5 minutes I really think you should stop dithering and buy! Waiting for a couple of pence drop is just wasting time. What if the shares go to 198 will you still wait for 188? Your choice, but shilly' shallying never uckfed fair lady!

Companies continually look at financing options in bad and good times. I wouldn't be spooked by RR saying they are considering doing such. We kinda knew that didn't we?
The 'uncertainty' is 'certain' imo.

RR closed at $2•53 (195) down 4•5% on 1•07m traded.

'Last years early 800s' should read ... 'this years early 800s'. Jan '20 averaged $806.

Vols were a lot lower yesterday at c.35,000 and just short of 280,000 (w-t-d). Last Thrs nos were flattered by the 200,000 buy at 45.75 which was a LRT anyways.

Palm ($798) is having an excellent week up $34 and approaching last years early $800s.

Shorting a stock is not a strategy I use (noone will lend me stock). Wonder what the costs are to have a 10,000 share short on RR? Many say and I tend to agree shorting a stock provides transparency or if you will the true value at a moment in time.
My doubts guide my hesitancy as I think the risks to be too great hence my longs are where I'd rather be and tbh I don't want to be tied to a screen all day long when I could be enjoying myself down the pub.

Each to his own so if it's your preferred method of making money that's fine by me. I just prefer to make money if I can the long way round. That decision is not looking too clever today but in 2022/3? I'll take a punt on RR being well North of current by then.

RR current mrkt cap is c.£3.708bn which places the company in 102 place.

Seems to be holding despite sellers getting the upper hand, 56 paid for small lots and sellers taking just under 54.
Volume is a lot less than Mon & Tuesday and they probably bght on the nos being reported on those days. Since we expect them on Friday, tomorrow could see a vol uptick. I dont suppose it matters a great deal whether REA report on a Monday or a Friday, personally I'd prefer a Monday.

I cannot find any stats on this. Perhaps the LSE allot you a day? Ring me if you know.

2x 10,000 LRTs plus 148,834 takes
d-t-d vols to 244,832 give or take. We haven't seen those vols since May.

REA prefs slipped to year low of 53.75 on 68,555. As with the ords holders have seen the price slump from 94.50 year high, not as bad as the ords but bad enough.
You might be banking 13.5p in div arrears now yielding 20%+. Too good to be true? We will find out on Friday.

I make REA vols to date 208,786 give or take with the last two trades being sells of 100,000 & 48,834 at 50 & 47,
(52-54) will change before opening.
All this sudden interest points to results this week perhaps today? Other palm stocks were mixed, cpo lost $6 to $776.
