Before you get too excited about purchasing new shares before they hit €10 I would sit on the fence and see how the market interprets the release of figures today from MS and GC in the States. Contrasting set of results with MS profits down 41%, but less than expected,with result SP up. Big drop in Investment Banking fees with GS and greater provision being made for loan loss reserves anticipating a worsening economy. This could account for BIRG dropping from 9.13 to 8.92 late this evening.

Since ECB commenced increasing interest rates AIB has moved its rate by 100bps whereas BIRG moved by 25pps.
WAIR on new mtges is 2.57% at 11/22 which is below eurozone except France and Malta.This represents significant u turn as, historically, irish mtge rates above eurozone.we expect this to continue to be a focus for II as the movement in swap rates in recent times calls into question the economics of front book mtge lending,especially for BIRG. Expect to see more interest rate increases for AIB/PTSB in months ahead but all eyes will be on BIRG in near term and when they will move.
While mkt observers believe BIRG has been slower to lift rates given it's mkt flow share objectives we do not think Investors shall be supportive of an underpricing strategy.

BIRG has exceeded this in 2.5 years. Your other Basket case, AIB , has done 480% in same time period.
You also screamed from the rooftops in April 2020 that Ryanair would be liquidated by December 2020 and is now top performing sttock in Europe in the Aviation sector with your star recommendations RR/IAG/EJ lying in their wake.Of course you were the expert who picked out the top 2 Dogs in the FTSE.

I'd imagine the BIRG December statement reflecting the position at 30 September 22 will not present orgasms to Investors as the best news it contains is the NIM increasing by 6-7% (subsequently increased to 10% ) -AIB anticipating a 15% increase in NIM !
Perhaps you didn't notice the fact that the AIB 6/22 PBT figure is 28% HIGHER than the BIRG 6/22 Figure. All sectorss in BIRG better be outperforming everybody else in the game in H2 .
What made you think Dividends declared in 1st qtr. Divs require approval of BOD and enter market place at AGM-May 2022.
