As earnings in 2021 were c€1.20 per share it will be interesting to see the market reaction to earnings of €1 per share.
If you think a 20c div is giving the 2 fingers to s/h dont be surprised if you end up getting a kick up the butt. Been a long time since s/h were considered in determining size of div.
PTSP SP has appreciated over 30% in last few weeks so will be interesting to see their results tomorrow and how market reacts to them.

I replied posting I sold some tranches at 8.50/8.6/8.7 and had 40k left in back pocket - which info appeared to upset you greatly.

I take it the object of your posting exercise on Blackrock's monetary value is to prove you can multiply. This monetary value fluctuates in line with the sp -being 4% shy of a billiion some days ago -4% above a billion today and 25% shy of a billion last august.

rephrase 17.51 post - paid to s/h on register on ex div date. Div paid c 6 weeks later. Buying on or after ex div ddate and you are excluded.

always thought dividend only paid to existing shareholders on ex dividend date. Cannot win the Donkey Derby if you are not entered. Sell now and forgo right of entry.

Would encourage you to resume fiction reading.

we have markets and markets. If BIRG is worth 11.5 Bn now why was it valued at just over 5 Bn last June. The cynic will say it is worth 11.5Bn , not if,. lets see what the Ides of March delivers next week.
As posted before 1 of the 2 valuations is incorrect as there is no economic reason to justify a doubling of BIRG valuation in 8 months.

SP obviously concentrating on Euro Banks v Irish Banks with euro scene more competitivee and their NIM repoerted as being 1.2% on average of total assets.
UK banks have reported in the last couple of weeks with their NIM's as follows :
.Lloyds NIM in 22 was 2.94% with a prokected NIM of 3.05% in 23.
Barclays NIM in 22 was 3.54% with a projected NIM of 3.2% in 23.
Nat West NIM in 22 was 2.85% with a projected NIM of 3.2% in 23.

AIB NIM in 2019 was 1.94%, NIM of 1.58% in 21 and projecting an increase of 15% in 22 on 21 figure.
BIRG very similar to AIB but projecting an increase of 10% in 22 s against 15% for AIB.
So while NIM for BIRG/AIB somewhat higher than their Euro counterparts they are at 50% of the UK level which also applies to the US average of c 3%

Believe it or not , when a company issues a RNS on shareholding positions they refer to the %age holding numberwise of shares, never the monetary value.

Blackrock by far largest external s/holder - next biggest around 5% mark. What is size of employees holding.
is the total s/h of Birg not about 1.07Bn level which would put Blackrock holding at c 96million.

BTY Doomster I omitted to post that I have no concerns with my GGP holding and confidently expect to be in profit before Boohoo hit your 60p prediction which is now past your prediction date.
How come you have not referred to my regular historic postings and my belief that you NEVER bought shares. I am much more interested in your response to this and my comments on BIRG/AIB rather than comments on IMPLICATIONS.

I have directly stated that back in 2020 you lavished the praises of IAG etc and forecast the liquidation of Ryanair, with the bondholders acquiring the Airline for a song. That is FACT and , totally unlike ALL other Airlines in Europe, Ryanair the sole Airline not to go with the begging bowl for Govt hand outs. No IMPLICATION there. It is also a FACT that you repeatedly posted that Irishh Banks would go to the wall post Brexit,as would Irish economy. Lo and behold that outperform ALL FINANCIAL STOCKS on the planet. FACT.
As regards GGP ,I have often posted my average holding price to be 11p ,posting my original buys of 200,000 at 1.7p. I recall GGP were around 3-4p when I recommended them to the board- and Boohoo were trading around 400p at the same time.

What I have repeatedly referred to is your never ending ramping of the above shares and , as I have repeatedly PROVED, your RECOMMENDATIONS ended up as the TOP DOGS in the FTSE and your REJECTIONS head to stratospheric levels with BIRG and AIB totally outperforming any FINANCIAL stocks WORLDWIDE over last 30 months with 768% and 500% growth respectively. Your Airline REJECTION,RYANAIR, proves to be the top performing Airline Stock in Europe while your recommendations have yet to get out of the starting blocks with the CEO of your chief recommendation having the honesty and integrity to admit your recommendation is a MONEY BURNING PLATFORM.

have got rid of 2 tranches at 9.95 and 10.1. Order in at moment to sell at 10. will hold on to small holding when results released although I have posted would get rid of lot at over 10.
will put in an order day before results released ( 6 march) to buy at 8.50 price. see how market behaves that day. Price may not come back to that level but expect price fall(s) on 7/8 march with recovery in run up to ex div date.
dont expect much action over the summer which could extend to end of october wth rugby world cup. Plenty of excitement to end of year and new year.
lets see how it goes but strong results and attractive div and everything changes.
