Has gone (for a song) but it should free up the drain on working capital for growth areas which is what the aim was so slightly better position in that there is more breathing regards the hybrid, but the rail provision got a lot worse since Feb 2023 when that was produced but fingers crossed maybe nearing a resolution after 2yrs.

Are banking on no resolution with the German PTA's and uncertainty around the hybrid bond due soon.

The new management should really be pushing hard for a resolution to restate these contracts to be at least profitable

with the threat of court action and some compensation, the Germans always love to screw the brits and anyone else for that matter. That would probably blow the shorts out the water.

50-60p would probably follow with a favourable resolution, 2 yrs and counting is not acceptable, MCG are not a charity.

Any more German PTA rail impairments and the nav will be negative if it isn't already with off-balance sheet hybrid bond, must be more penalties on the way 6 months into the year.

The NASB sale is done and dusted it awaits rubber stamping from the powers that be, it is most likely already priced in, a resolution to the cash penalties in Germany needs to be found otherwise further write downs cash outflows are on the way.

Short increased .5% on 30 Jun 2025 that's 3m shares shorted, checking 30 Jun data there was only 2.7m traded all day!

Bond (i'm assuming it's the hybrid) down another 5% today, since April 25 it has crashed from 95p > 60p.

Not totaly sure but I suspect there must be a chance that bond is going to take a hair cut and the equity as good as worthless on a financial restructuring at some stage.

I'd be interested to know what the more knowledgable/astute investors here make of the bond crash?

Good if true or is it just a figment of your imagination?

Still falling, hybrid I think looks like fell 6% yesterday down to 66.4p, was 94p in April before the NASB debacle
