Swing trading and taking regular small profits is the easiest way to make money in the stock market. Those who have held this for over a year need an almost 50% increase to get back to where the SP was and don't forget about inflation.
Laur, TLW had internal problems in late 2019, that lead to the SP going from 200p plus to sub 70p, then the 'bug' came. So when we have hit mid 60s since it was really a slow bend 'U' shape recovery.
We'll thankfully I have made good money from tlw in the last year, unlike those who watch the SP going up and down in the hope that a golden RNS lands......lol
PB, For Premium Bonds the max investment is £50k? If you are getting 3% (each year) for 5 years then that is a great rate of return - what was your biggest single prize?
DrJ, I see your point, but where do we put our money during times like these? PMs will always have some value - but if you don't hold it you don't own it springs to mind.
