Trading this is easy money, I took some profit today.
With regard to the ' golden RNS', it could be sometime away, and depending on the deal it might not be that 'golden'.

It has taken a while but it's good to see that some holders are finally waking up to what is going on. Ideally we need Kenya news, then sell before this merger can happen.

Was the SP not around 140p after the 13th Nov 2019, RNS ? We didn't drop sub 70p until 9th Dec 2019.

Averaging $87 per barrel might help explain this.

The Kenya deal could be the Canary in the coal mine for some holders. If we give too much away then it might be a safer play to be out of this for a while.

If the price of oil has nothing to do with the SP - then what does ?

I don't think it matters as to who gets elected, as the new government will be guided and advised what to do.

Kenya have a national debt crisis and the government have just had to borrow more money.

It could drop much more as it has done in the past, but if the merger goes ahead at least our lenders are better protected but at whose cost...

Good point Anton, what has happened to POG is more concerning. We might regard ourselves as private investors but really we are speculators or even gamblers.

Good call, the safe play here is to heavily reduce after the Kenya news.

I have made good money by trading this for the last year, and prior to the merger - the pattern was reliable - get ready to sell when the SP went over 60p, and more recently sell above 57p.

Why would Russia stop selling oil ?They have their own economy to fund and India has been buying this oil.

Just look at what has happened to POG, the British Government are literally giving the Russians a gold mine.

Oil price is likely to be suppressed until after the mid - terms, and if TLW don't get a reasonable Kenya deal then it could be turbulent times ahead.

That would make sense for companies of this size. However, some on here seem to think TLW will keep 18k BOPD.

If the powers that be were serious about addressing this problem - not just the businesses but the individuals involved should face the consequences in the form of custodial sentences.

How did you get to this 100p valuation - with about 2.3B shares in issue?
We don't know the details of the Kenya deal, and with their national debt crisis, the new leader just might have to do as they are told by the bankers.
