Is there any reason why CNE are not buying up smaller caps like UOG, than getting involved with TLW ?

It is looking that way - I am in good profit but ready to get out. If this had the potential that we all expected then the big boys should have been here by now.

Oil price as usual is being supressed in the run up to the mid terms.

It is much cheaper and easier to arrange the floor - ceiling collar price range. The floor is about $58

We already know:
TLW averaged $86 PB in Jan, and from the July update:
The Group generated revenue, including the cost of hedging, of c.$0.8 billion in the first half of the year, with a realised oil price of c.$106/bbl before hedging and c.$87/bbl after hedging. Capital expenditure in the first half of the year was c.$155 million.

LTHs have been getting played since June 2021.

If we don't get a decent Kenya deal then I feel it could be quite risky to be holding this. Far easier to trade and have an element of safety.

Let's hope they find another partner.

Most of the news regarding the results is already out - avg just $87 for the first 6 months - it's all in the July update.

Gold dropping is good as it gives those who know where this is going an opportunity to buy more.

There is never only one way. Kenya election court ruling is due on 5th Sept, and history shows that the oil price is 'controlled' in the run up to the US mid terms. Another good day for trading TLW.
