If this share is being manipulated to keep the SP low - why then are are buyers not flooding in? With PoO at about $120, low volume and no scheduled update for 6 weeks it could be a long wait - unless trading it.
BigR, Good point, just to break even a PI would need to make 15%pa to keep up with inflation. Anton, In percentage terms would is your definition of the SP flying ?
Short term price fluctuations are irrelevant. Let's see what price we are now averaging PB, the wider market thinks we are still shackled by the hedging.
RE: AGM Trading update - Wednesday23 May 2022 15:43
It will be a good update. TLW averaged $86 PB for January and Brent has been much higher since then - and this is not currently reflected in our SP, so I have bought more. GLA
The RNS in February stated that TLW were averaging $86 per barrel - with the average Brent price for this month being $86.51. Since then the average Brent price for March and April has been $97.14 and $117.25 respectively and the pre-emption was concluded during this period. How much of this is priced in ?
I can see why some would buy physical, but it's not for me - due to trouble selling and the prices paid. Real interest rates should be at least 1% above the inflation rate - but I can't see that happening anytime soon.
