Ariel, thanks. When I came to buy yesterday, NatWest could not give me the shares but had to make a phone call to what I believe is a market maker. The conversation showed me that NatWest can be 'holding shares' as at other times they promptly quote a price and fill my order. So the shares NatWest hold, have they been bought by them to sell on? or do they have shares because say a second before someone sold? For my education can someone enlighten me to the inner workings. Yes someone may reply DYOR.

When investing I believe it is important to understand what motivates others and their concerns. Motley does write a lot of nonsense but it does have an impact and for the waverers it could tip them to sell. Yes we may see that as a stupid action but there are a lot of stupid actions taken in this arena. I have made some stupid, and some intelligent decisions. There is a lack of up to date information with MTRO at present, and consequently a rumour had the impact that it did. A RNS could change this and remove the Fool twaddle

Why would it crash? If the management are any good( and most on here believe they are) then they will have an alternative ready, and it will be put forward. Have faith and it will deliver IMHO

agree lamtree, taking a profit is a valuable skill. All too easy to make a paper profit, fail to sell, and before you know it you have lost your gain/profit.

Suggest you settle for 3.30p - you will be lucky to get that. 4p likely this week IMHO

malu I'm out at the moment and will buy back in if it drops to 200. At present I'm showing a loss with this because I bought above 300 and promptly sold at 159. Went in again at 198,sold at 222. MTRO looks good in that the branches look smart and the staff have been helpful when I have been in. But for me there does appear to be something wrong that I cannot put my finger on. I think many on here have their heads in the sand, not meaning to be rude, lets say they are in denial. No one has explained how a good investment drops this far from £40. IMO

As I see it, perhaps time to add/buy as your situation dictates. DYOR
