I'm an OAP, voted and it was all OAP's voting when I was there. My prediction is that the turnout will be very high, come on and cast your vote.

The rain is coming down heavily here and the polling station is busy busy. For many years bad weather has indicated a Tory victory but I get the sense that is less certain now. Strategic voting is the order of the day IMO. Please all vote.

Stakis, allowing that as recent as March this year the sp was 270 there is plenty of upside IMO.
The problem for me is that a hung parliament looks more and more likely, which will disturb the markets.
For my RBS investment a Boris majority offers the best prospect for a share rise, whereas a hung parliament means I get another chance to vote "to stay". Good Luck from a confused investor.

Why the rise?

Iknowthis, the people you work with are likely to hold views similar to your own. And you may be in an area where the Tories are strong. However the marginals are what will decide it and this is where the young new voters may hold sway . IMO we are in for a hung parliament and JC may have his moment of glory.

IMO its a rate that could attract investors who would not otherwise be considering MTRO, and at the end of the year many investors may roll their investment over for a lower rate. Maybe MTRO are able to lend the money out in overdrafts and earn 15/20%.

DYOR however Aviva also have a property fund, so switching could create a new problem for you. The Pru property fund had an excellent reputation which I'm assuming is now in MNG hands. Still convinced that the property issue for MNG will be ring fenced. GLA

BlahBlahDoh I believe Insurance Property funds include this facility where they can withhold payment for up to 6 months so protecting those who remain in the fund, the risk being that those selling today are getting a higher sum when property values are falling. The Brexit effect could affect attitudes toward property investment by the wealthy from overseas. We also have high street property values crashing. The trouble is that "bad news" can affect sentiment where our sp is concerned. There will be Property Fund managers who are glad that MNG made the move now, as they can adopt the same approach without being so much in the spotlight. IMHO

Whilst I would like to see that 10% surely it is going to create expectation coupled with uncertainty which is likely to lead nowhere for the moment. When they announce a quality appt. then we should see a bounce IMHO

This is not unusual with Insurance Property funds, not least owing to limited levels of liquidity and as we know property cannot be sold quickly. It ought not to affect this share when the position is properly understood by the markets IMHO

For me this election is offering a very poor choice.

illbetabuck the referendum result came about from a pack of lies, and Boris is adding to these lies. My concern is with my grandchildren. Getting out of 'Europe' will be a disaster IMHO
