What is the expectation today for all MTRO shareholders?

Sell Half and watch it drop to 160 and buy back in with lower average/more shares. But if it rises to 250 or higher you have not ruled yourself out of all the gain. Not advice simply a view. You seem stuck, and refuse to make a decision.
Lets say it goes up to £4 will you be able to sell and walk away? Will you think that it will go up more, hold, only to see it drop to 200 in a day. Can you make a decision, some have a problem with selling?? IMHO

BO it could work, it could be good if it gets slated by some, and others might like it being silly. No such thing as bad publicity, maybe.

The Boris lead is dropping, strategic voting will also shake it up.

Yes look at the bigger picture. JC is going to an extreme, but Boris appears to simply not care.
Hung parliament could be the result IMO.
The LibDems and Brexit parties could impact in a way that has not happened in my lifetime, and the Greens could also upset the apple cart. It will be worth staying up for the results to come in. May your god go with you.

The chuckles have a nice balance IMO. To provide a div of 2p is amazing when you are looking at a sp of 4p. In the short term I see the sp rising quite a bit because of the likelihood of the div. which is worth paying for. A bit like a share rises before it goes ex div. And I'm not trying to ramp the share just my honest view of the situation right now. GLA

Hang on a moment the sp in May 2019 was over £8, that's taken from the chart on here.
And to make an offer you don't have to hold 30% but could start discussion having bought 5% IMHO

Bunsen - helpful, I can afford to stick with this as not risking very much however if it rose to 2p it would give me a great return. My plan is to help my grandchildren with Uni costs and that is not going to happen for 8 years so 'will take a long term view. GL

Thinking aloud is this an issue? To give a comparison which some might laugh at= the PRU sp is suffering due to the unrest in Hong Kong. I'm wondering whether we could be shafted and lose our business. This is a consideration for me but NOT an effort at deramping.

jimdson Not deramping as want to get my money back and show a profit; for a bank with an impressive front of house I think they could do something to show to shareholders what they are currently focused on. We are at the back end of 2019. A little bit of effort would reap dividends with shareholders when there are no divs. GL

Jez, for me and some on here a rising share price is what matters. A dividend is not important. However is 4p a reasonable valuation of EUA, should it be higher/lower if we factor in no dividend, no takeover, no sale of assets. I rather like the idea of a long term investment but don't like the thought of a collapse in the sp. Where does that take us?
