Freeatlast not sure its likely to involve monies being paid by 31.12.19; even if an agreement has been reached. You would have to know the buyers tax position to be able to say what is the best time. EUA won't be dictating the timescales IMHO

bkplimo, when the regulator was known as SIB I like you was closely involved, and they were reasonable but very thorough. Our organisation got a real shock initially but the outcome was good i.e. we then worked at a much more professional level. We had been cutting corners and they don't like to see that, which could be true of MTRO.

For some this has proved very risky. I have come to MTRO late so 'am not showing a big loss. IMO it is more likely to reach 250 than 150 but the timescale is unknown. If it sticks say in the range 200-230 for the next 2 months I would not be surprised whereas in that period you could see a nice gain from a FT 100 stock plus a div if you continue to hold. Analysis of this business shows that customers love it but it has some threats that put off investors. No one has been able to demonstrate that it will get to £4-5 any time soon. If you buy now and it gets to £3 in the next 12 months that would be a nice profit, which would suit me, and would make the investment worthwhile if buying today. Good Luck

Kray not able to give an answer apart from my last post. I've invested say 2% of my share capital so it is not a high risk strategy to hold. I've a higher % in MTRO where I'm showing a loss. The message seems to be that some shares you can invest, hold, and largely ignore; EUA needs to be carefully monitored IMO

_Mr_Big previously I was up by a few thousand and still managed a decent profit, its still offering a return by regularly trading and provided the investment is modest there is a manageable risk IMO
