Am I the only person who would rather have had the 300m as a special dividend?
I haven’t seen any evidence from other companies that buybacks so anything major for the SP other than on the individual days they are happening.
I get less shares in existence should mean a bigger share of dividend pot and that financial ratios all look better to benefit directors’ bonuses etc.
But I’d rather I had the money and could then decide whether to buy a bigger slice of Aviva or not rather than having that decision foisted upon me.

Well done CB - looks like yesterday was the day to buy. SP has started a smooth, steady climb up today.
I didn't top up yesterday as over 1/4 of my SIPP / ISA holdings already in DEC so I was reluctant to put too many eggs in the DEC basket - mistake?

Doubt Genel would be wasting time and money on arbitration if they didn’t think they’d get something, though probably hoping for a pre court settlement.
A couple of months of field maintenance halting production would hurt KRGs cashflow more than Genel’s.

Think your logic would be correct were it not for “big boys” stupid ESG policies which keep lots of them out of shares that look at bit like oil. That was why we changed name from DGOC to DEC. But there’s still a small percentage of accidental oil on there so ESG says No.

Given previous raft of negative RNS issues - I think waiting a couple of weeks to ensure steady, reliable operation is a good idea.
Imagine if they announced COD and then it fell over the next day. Nil credibility.

I’ve no concerns over the tech, just the finance or where EQT are managing, the project management / focus required to drive to a close iaw the project plan.

Aandi, think the metric you missed for most of these “projects” is funding. Is it fully funded, partially funded and looking for investment or just at the good idea with potential stage?
Unless they are fully funded they can’t have a completion date.

Swazers has been asked multiple times how TA can work for AIM companies where rumour and news have massive and disproportionate impacts on share price (I can accept it has some role for FTSE 100 companies where so many people use it that it becomes self fulfilling).
He's never had an answer.

In any other business relationship that would be breach of contract, fraud or theft.
KRG certain know how to discourage further investment or foreign involvement in their country.
Hope they get screwed at arbitration.

Think we're agreed:
Buybacks at high price when you know a lower priced placing is in the plans is plain dumb.
I'd say a placing rather than just borrowing the money was not helpful to Share Price
But now, buying back below the offer price makes sense to me.

And if you’re buying back shares for less than you just sold them for the you’re making money and reversing dilution.

I guess no-one has automatic sell orders in at levels up to .3 and above.
It would be interesting to see if these were being triggered if MMs are short of stock.

I can only see one sell of 83 shares. Guess someone needed that 20p badly!
Millions of buys though so looks like buyers outnumbering sellers significantly today. Guess there's always some speculation after a 17% drop with nil change in fundamentals.

Suspected they’d fail to meet the backstop date (the one that wouldn’t be moved) so no surprise there.
Pleasantly surprised SP is still above .25 given yet another failed deadline.

Can't beat some transparent funding and ownership details. It's almost as they were trying to be opaque and confuse potential investors!
By all means have complex arrangements - just explain them clearly.
