Ramping other shares and moaning about your crap broker (just move!!!) doesn’t count.

Usually picks up a bit on dividend delivery day as some people reinvest dividends straight away. Current weather can only be good for hedge prices so should have a few days in the blue.

It’s worse than just throwing the money away as we’ll now have a reserve write down which will once spook investors.

If Riverport have blocked drawdown on the remaining £5M of the original loan because they don’t fancy shares then presumably a big chunk of this £2M will be repaying the instalments for the first £5M loan arrangement.
C’mon Shell just make an offer at 1p per share and make the world a cleaner place. A takeover or new partner with deep pockets looks like only way out.

Sentiment at the time was that KRG thought they could replace the PSCs with a better deal with Russia. Ukraine had obviously sunk that strategic plan.
In terms of compensation / arbitration Genel were adamant at last presentation that this was all secret until resolution so no numbers in the public domain.

I’d say it’s Aviva tidying up its holding in Devro.
As Devro’s main output is sausage casings I doubt they’re trying to take over Aviva.

Nothing to see here. Over last few years we’ve dropped from £24 to sub £10 and bounced up again. Now stable in range so what’s to add other than answering specific questions?

Sorry to disappoint Damo but if you look back to my summary of Investor presentation on 3 Nov they specifically excluded the possibility of a special dividend, any share buybacks or buying back bonds. They’re full out building cash for acquisitions.

But is a fugitive emission the same as a leak? Perhaps it’s a volume thing? Difficult to say without the definitions they are using but he didn’t say leaks for a reason.
He’d guess most people can work out 100% -90% =10% and then multiply that by number of wells. They are sensitive to this subject so wouldn’t admit to thousands of leaking wells.

Have just added EQT to grand kids’ ISAs. So EQT Board if you could get stuff over the line in the next 14 years the grandkids will be grateful.

Barrie, suggest it fell because it had reached top of trading range. Doubt it’ll break out above that until there’s some different news.

CJ and DBB can’t fault your logic but what do you do between now and when you might feel happy to jump back in? Leave cash earning 2% when inflation is over 10%. Guess if you assume drop will be more than 10% you’ll break even at worst. But it’ll take a 15% or so drop to make it profitable once costs and possible missed dividends are included.
Or do you just buy elsewhere?
Personally with a dividend better than savings rates I’ll risk riding the ups and downs for a couple of years by which time either world economics will have improved or we’ll all be guarding our food with automatic weapons and won’t care about share prices.

Great link. Seems DEC management have turned Bloomberg’s old negative “leaking wells” story into a positive.
Strategy of capping more of your own than required by legislation whilst using spare capacity to cap other people’s wells and orphans is great for both PR and the bottom line.
Having the flexibility to use teams on your own wells in and around external contracts means teams are always busy and productive. Win win.

Have seen several results or interims where numbers have come in as forecast but market treats this as massively underwhelming and marks the share price down.
Perhaps forecasts need to be less realistic and more pessimistic but guess that flouts accountancy rules.

126.5 was the best I could get yesterday. 122.45 this morning so bought another tranche and saved more than the divvy, plus this purchase was an isa one so missed out on the wht as well.
Now let’s get back to pre div prices!

Hold on Krusty! FTSE dropping, oil and commodities dropping, US futures slightly down. Might drop away into close as sellers offload prior to XD.

Seav, I get that (I’ve been a holder here since 80p days and have quite a chunk).
My question to myself was is it worth paying today’s price and getting the 3p or will tomorrow’s drop be more than 3p so I’d be better off waiting?
I realise no-one knows but looking at previous XD pricing it’s all a bit variable! Down to 126.5 now so looking better.
