Agree, going down the Royalty Route would be the last option to be taken, however, if that gets us over the line to finding a source of Capex funding for GGP’s share of the mining costs then all well and good. Would only need to sell 1% not 5% ???

Spade,in general I agree 100% with what you say, I think the financial term is called 'Gearing'.

The main thing is not to overburden the company beyond it's capacity to fund the debt interest payments, that goes without saying.

Somewhat slightly off topic, I read an article the other day about our glorious water companies and the levels of debt they all have and their director salaries quite an eye opener .

I would refer you to one of Paddy Galls excellent posts, ie, 01st Aug 2022 re alternative sources of finance.

'There are other options available to GGP - Franco Nevada paid $100m to Solgold for a 1% royalty on it's Alpala and Cascabel project.

NCM weren't very happy when this deal was brokered and I'm sure they won't want anything similar to happen at Havieron but how much would 1% of Havieron be worth to a royalty streamer over the next 40 - 50 years with exposure to all the exploration upside that is available there.

Lots of options available to SD yet.

For me I always look at the management ,before I look at the concept.

There is no doubt about it IMHO, that Archax are currently streets ahead when compared to GST, at this point in time IMHO.

I reallly do think GST have a lot to learn from companies like Archax.

Technology and knowledge has moved on so quickly now.

I recall my Uncle suffering a stroke some 20 plus years ago, things were so very different then, and now when you look at cases like Andrew Marr etc, his recovery has been remarkable. The world of medicine has moved on with great strides & advancements, IMHO.

All being well. strokes will soon become an inconvenience and nothing more than that, as medical science advances.

Look at data for last Friday, its actually 88.84m ie, shares on loan ,of which only 20.35m are for JPM as shown on the FCA register. The rest must be for either HNWI's and/or a collection of other organisations, whom individually own less than half a percent and so are not reported.

There is a lag between what is actually shown and what is actually on loan as I understand.

It may well be, that not all of what is shown as on loan, is actually being utilised/shorted,. It's very hard to tell IMHO.

Nevertheless Ortex is the only source as far as I am aware of for reporting the data.

Bottom line, when the shorters present me with a knock down price, I rip their arm off and take it off them.

When will they be buying back back the 87m + shares on loan is the Big ....as yet unanswered question? :O)

A year FFS!!!!, their salaries /commission ,I had read somewhere were in the region of $28M+ , well worth it to them by all accounts???

Someone on here also commented, that Gold Miners should bring a Class Action lawsuit against JPM for the damage that they have most possibly cost them due to reduced miner revenues/profits.

Given the time lag since first announcing the Glindala deal, at the very most ,I would like to see some further explanation/ meat on the bone, ie ,we GST are currently responding to FCIS questions etc over our application, or similar words to that effect, that then would fully explain the current radio silence/delay that we are now all going through.

This a key moment IMHO in the deveopment of GST.

If I do not hear anything on this matter,by the end of September, then I personally will most likely bail out, because it is creating more uncertainty and the market hates uncertainty.

Personally, I think it is very important to 'Man the Ramparts' and where you are able to do so defend the GGP story irrespective of a background attack from JPM et al and their 80m shares on loan that one day they will have to buy back.

Let's not forget for one moment and ask ourselves WHY?

What is their gameplan and what is yours as LTH?

I want all LTH's to benefit in this war of attrition and it is my own personal belief that if we stick together and HOLD the line we can see the shorters of in time. Time is against the shorters on so many fronts, ie the 5% conclusion and freedom from immediate debt plus a revised MRE from NCM in the not too distant future.

IMHO once those 2 items have been fully dispatched, the SP will quickly re-rate towards positive territory.

Personally, I think it's now time our BOD's came clean on the progress of the Lithuanian deal and tell us exactly where we are up to, how confident thet are of it all concluding successfully, and why the previous 'shortly announcement' has now past it's expiry date.
