RE: Takeover25 Jul 2022 02:13
Hi Zoros,
‘What year do you expect the SP to be say: 70p? With a premium of perhaps 40% on top for an offer? Just curious.’
OK, I’ll bite, :O)
For me NCM will only make an offer once:
1. A decision to mine has been passed by the BOD at NCM(.In reality that’s just a formality IMHO, given what we already know and currently understand of the Gold resources at Havieron etc)
2. From GGP’s perspective, GGP can only move forward as far as a bank loan is concerned for supporting Capex after having a positive Bankable Feasibility study is issued, plus the 5% conundrum now completed etc. Those are my thoughts, can’t see it happening before that exercise is concluded.
3. So, at what point would NCM make a move? IMHO if they were to make a move it would only be after NCM shareholders had agreed in principle as such to a takeover or buyout of the Havieron asset.
We already know and understand at the somewhat quite current displeasure of NCM shareholders, in NCM’s strategy so far over recent acquisitions and costs associated, versus what all shareholders really want in the end, ie is a magic dividend, for that is why they are invested for in the first place.
4. IMO, NCM will have to very carefully time such a buyout strategy of Havieron. Why?, because if GGP do indeed discover another Havieron or even a quarter of one, within say the next 2 years, they NCM will then be facing a far financially stronger company and will be simply rebuked.
5. In conclusion it is very difficult indeed to answer your question, but I strongly believe that we GGP, have a great chance of finding another Elephant and that will then be the making of GGP, and that in itself, will then present new dynamic for NCM to have to consider.
6. Quick finger in the air guess, 70p by end of 2024 :O)
