RE: Next week sp prediction12 Jul 2022 00:37
Hi SK,
For me the 5% is not an issue per se, when looking at the overall long term picture, in that this is an inherited legacy issue for SD as created by GH, and to be fair SD has and continues to do all he can to minimise any potenial impact, ie by upping the MRE up to a certain point in time.
'This Resource update is at a 'point in time', with a 2 December 2021 cut-off for drilling information used to inform the Mineral Resource Estimate.'

So if it's less than others might wish for, the shorters as you believe will sell even more shares?
Whatever the outcome be it greater or lesser than peoples expectations , then those folk whom take a longer term view will just be pleased that it's been dealt with and then all can ove forwards. In my particular case if the SP does fall because of it, this will present a buying opportunity to reach my holdings target.
Thinking longer term, the main risk for now is financing, but is it really such a great risk given the continual drilling results and a potential 20moz bounty sometime in the future?.
IMHO, I also think SD will be able to secure Capex financing via a Bank loan one way or another, be it via an Australian bank or elsewhere. ASFAIC, Shaun wants to go mining 100%,no doubt about that in my mind, and because of that we will in roughly 18/24 months time (assuming we hit the top of the ore body )then be generating cashflow to be used to service our current and long term liabilities.
I accept there are risks there will always be a risks with any venture, but overall and on balance we have the right jurisdiction, the right partner to further develop Havieron as they are in great need of the ore, the right management team at GGP, a growing asset/resource in Havieron, so that's why I am personally willing to invest in GGP.
Good luck whatever it is you decide to do in the end, let us know.:O)
