This price action has been going on since last year, except when it tanks.
Nothing to do with dividends, even the reinstatement of dividends didn't entice buyers.
The market is up today, this never ever bounces without falling back.
Everyone here is scratching their heads.
No director buys.
Even the confirmed revenue growth as promised and starting to be delivered which will start improving margins next year, was not enough to sustain the rise we got the day of the results.
The only good thing here is it trades around this level even on sell off days, and we now get paid for the pleasure of holding shares here.
Whether it's a bargain at these levels remains to be seen.
I would argue if its such a bargain why hasn't the new CFO purchased any shares, why aren't funds increasing their stakes, and why isn't Apollo sniffing around.

Well if its holding this afternoon I will relax a bit, the downward spiral definitely escalated in the afternoon.

This is all GLG, they've increased 0.18 the last 2 days.

This why shorting like this should be banned.
You have double the demand for shares versus supplied today, which in any fair market dynamics would increase the price, similar to inflation, yet they are able to do this.
How is that fair game?
The sooner the second Tennet contract is awarded the sooner they will disappear.
It's a despairing hold this, and really makes buying a mugs game when these leeches are involved.

Anyone been thinking about the " no director purchases" topic again?
I am not sure what is expected, or what is considered as good will BOD purchases to boost sentiment, but none is leaving me scratching my head.

Shorts seem to be in control here, GLG increased by 0.12, no reason to be down 5% when most oilers are up.

Kairos reduced to 0.48 and GLG increased by 0.12, can't think why they would increase other than hedge to a long position.

It's getting to the point for me if you can't beat them join them.
Could have sold up and bought back 4k cheaper. It just seems that despite it being a solid business, there is absolutely no rally in it whatsoever.

1 week ago today, exactly the same, complete turnaround at the same time.

It's all 3 figure sells from 124 that seems to have done this, not total volume but little and often.

Why can't this hold any decent rise?
This happens every time it reaches 124 now.

UK stock market is a lost cause right now, it seems that we now don't follow cues from the US and have any sort if bounce back days, despite it being them not us predicted to have a recession.
It's farcical right now. For example one of my stocks Standard Chartered posted outstanding results recently and is lower than pre the update.
Lost all confidence in the FTSE MMs.

Anyone know why this sold off from 2.30?
Usually the other way round.

We say this all the time, wait until next update and what happens, a good update, the market reacts positively, then a broker slams it and the market tanks it.
It's feeling more and more like a wishful punt for capital growth and just a steadyish income stream.
