Every week that goes by with a declining SP means a bigger placing making for a larger % of dilution.
I hope the BOD has a plan up their sleeve or a bid in the offing.

That's the worrying part, it's almost like they are all of the same mind IE hoping for a fire sale that starts so low that a bargain price will look like a result.
Why aren't BHP buying this up at 16p a share ? Every one they buy at this price means they don't have to buy one for 40, 50,60,70p a share.

The world is in a mess because we haven't got a world leader worthy of the title.
PC has tied their hands for so long that it's weakness that has become the norm.
Instead of doing what has to done they look around for the area of most support and go with that.
The UK is leading the world in wrapping their citizens in cotton wool, shielding them from reality, giving them money to carry on as before. It's not sustainable and it will end in a much bigger problem than utilising kitchen sink economics, we need to live to our means not our aspirations. The govt effectively gave the green light to a nightmare future on Friday, we are going to see many more homeless people in the next 6-18 months, the money spent on maintaining people's lifestyles would have been better spent on the poorest. A friend of mine had a good idea, instead of giving home owners money whether they need it or not, they should send out the money in the form of vouchers to be spent with energy companies and supermarkets. that way it doesn't get spent on fags, booze and flights to Spain. I know it's not nearly that simple but just handing cash out is bonkers.

I'm pleasantly surprised that CB is going down this route.
After phase one it made sense to do phase two to prove the geophiz was correct across the whole area.
Now that's done we have arrived at the point where either drill the hell out of the place and take another
12 months minimum or leave some meat on the bone with the possibility that the buyer can prove up more value themselves, much like XTR did when they bought it.
It was always the intention to prove up hopefully 2mt and sell and given the unfolding story of Ascot CB has pretty much done what he said he would.
The next few weeks/months should be very interesting and hopefully very lucrative for us all.

One thing I alluded to yesterday was the weakness in Sterling is good for SOLG value wise as copper and gold is traded in US$ and for the purposes of SOLG being a UK listed company we are getting more £ per US$ of value.
To the tune of 20% better off. As I said the last time I posted that theory, I'm not 100 % sure that's the case but it makes sense to me, happy to be corrected.

Quady, Everything you use as "sense" isn't relevant in the next few months, being proactive doesn't mean "planning to", "looking at".
No drilling, no funds raised, no plan going forward based on the company's current situation. Only old news that at present levels of funding aren't possible.

I'd say 75% of the low SP is down to management (in)action, the rest is probably down to world events.
Sterling was 111c US this morning, does the copper price have a basis in US$ ? I'm only basing it on the way oil is traded
I'm not sure TBH but if that's the case the value of a LSE listed copper based company should be 20% higher this year in theory. Less the lower POC of course expressed in a % and world events listed elsewhere.
All in all SOLG is massively undervalued due mainly to lazy and non-proactive management.
