As you know block caving is mainly a deep mining techique but we have relatively near surface paydirt.

So why wouldn't you mine the mineral with less capex first ?

It also doesn't hurt the sell off cause as it adds value to the asset, it's worth more as a producing mine isn't it.

Not that it ever will be a producing mine in SOLG's possession, it's just a ruse to get potential buyers to stick a bid in.

I doubt it will tip any of SOLG's suitors over the edge but it's a step in the right direction.

The payment in shares begs another question.

When drilling started and the future looked so bright I seem to remember CB telling us lemmings that the drillers were so keen they were taking shares in lieu of salary in part payment. Were these in the form of warrants or unconditional shares ?

I wonder if they ever got them and if they did, did they cash them ASAP ?

I think a decent spike here will start with an unexplained rise to 2.5p followed by a spike to 4p on news.

Timescale is an unknown to me but it will happen knowing CB.

I'm determined to make some money here so I'll be out then and then back in on the retraction.

My opinion of CB hasn't changed, I'm just a bit calmer than I was a week ago.

The current share price is nowhere near fair value for I3E. I think maybe ATM 20p is and if the oil price goes up to $90/$100 for an appreciable time 25-30p would still be good value.

I don't think adding %tages to this ridiculously low SP is relevant TBH, the value of the assets aren't reflected in the current SP.

O & G prices rising fast into winter, we have seen I3E over 30p, I would think a buy out price would be at or north of that IMHO.

Quady, using figures from 1800 takes into consideration the last 50 years of the little ice age that is commonly accepted to have been from very early 1300's to mid 1800's. That's over 20% of the last 223 years at an accepted unusual low temp. Why is this period always quietly included in the calculations ? Doesn't it skew the results ?
