I don't think Justfencing was objecting to anything you posted Tony, I think it was more a desire to talk about the SP as well.

It's something that is at the forefront of a lot of PI's minds because that's how they value their investment.

The question really is why don't the SP and the fundamentals match up but I think you answered that in your 10.01 post.

Brent is up 30% when BP was 470p

BP is up 10% in the same period, there's more value to come yet I think

I agree with all that Ben, especially the pension we are paying Bird, in return he finds things that will continue the pension fund.

He has been seen for what he is and should move on, the company and the SP and us would be a lot better off.

First sensible thing you've said in a while

Nothing will change until the attitude of the BOD does. Rightly or wrongly they run this company as a money making enterprise and see very little mileage in being popular with the PI's and the SP

That was fine until, due to circumstances beyond their control, they stopped the monthly dividend that kept us PI's relatively quiet.

We will have to wait until more financial results are published to see a rise in the SP, that and the impending quarterly dividend. I still think we could wake up one morning some time soon to an aquisition RNS. 90% likelyhood of a purchase by the company and 10% likelyhood of a bid for the company IMHO.
